Nihon Kohden's unique input unit and Smart Cable system enable continuous monitoring. The input unit stores the patient s information, including waveforms, even if the input unit is plugged into a different monitor. 4 Redefining Life Scope TR provides continuous monitoring without reducing the monitoring parameters during transport. When the patient is transported to a new care setting, just detach the input unit and connect it to a different monitor. The patient information, including trend and waveforms, is transferred to the new bedside monitor to create one seamless patient record. The Life Scope TR monitors include valuable software at no additional cost. Smart Cable system - new modular technology Smart Cable TM technology miniaturizes circuits found in traditional modules and embeds that circuitry into the cable. With Smart Cable TM technology, you get complete modular flexibility at a significantly reduced cost and without the inconvenience associated with traditional modular systems. When you plug a Smart Cable TM into a MULTI connector, it automatically detects the type of parameter and starts measuring. As new parameters are developed, Nihon Kohden will incorporate the new parameters into the new Smart Cable TM, guaranteeing your monitoring investment against obsolescence. New! BIS New! Moreover review screens can be synchronized with each other. This enables you to easily access any necessary information. Interbed monitoring You can use any bedside monitor to check the vital information and alarm status of another monitor in the network, even if there is no central monitor. Numeric data for 16 patients or numeric data and 2 waveforms for one patient can be displayed on the Interbed screen. 9 alarms Effective alarm system The alarm indicator on top of the monitor can be clearly seen at a distance. The alarm indicator is also synchronized with heart rate, blood pressure or SpO 2. Highly accurate ec1 arrhythmia analysis Nihon Kohden s ec1 arrhythmia analysis provides superior elimination of false alarms. ec1 has been evaluated with world standard arrhythmia databases as well as Nihon Kohden s ECG database, with a result of 80% reduction of false alarms Number of false alarms V. 10 Monitoring System Network Transmitters A Life Scope TR monitor with attached ZS-900PK transmitter can transmit data to the central monitor wirelessly. NetKonnect With optional NetKonnect, you can review real-time patient data and history such as full disclosure data and arrhythmia history anytime and anywhere from your PC with a web browser. HL7 Gateway An HL7 gateway connects the LS-NET monitor network to the hospital or clinical information system (HIS, CIS). Vital sign data, alarm history, arrhythmia and ST recall, 12-lead analysis reports, and waveforms* in the bedside monitor can be transferred using HL7 protocol. *Some limitations apply to transferring waveforms.
