From distant countries, Ljubljana, Slovenia is easiest to reach by plane (airport Ljubljana, Brnik - Joze Pucnik). Ljubljana could be easily reached also from nearby countries and cities (airports) by shuttles, cars and trains, for example: From Trieste (airport Ronchi; Italy): 1.5 hour From Klagenfurt (Austria): 1.5 hour From Graz (Austria): 1.5 hour From Zagreb (Croatia): 1.5 hour From Wien (Austria): 4.5 hour From Venezia (Italy): 2.5 hours From Münich (Germany): 4.5 hour... For these connections, I suggest to contact a shuttle service (GoOpti; ) and arrange the transfer (cheapest and fastest).

Tickets are purchased on the bus or at the bus station (cca. 4-5 EUR one-way, depends of the company). By Shuttle transfer (Airport Ljubljana Airport) Ljubljana Airport- Ljubljana City- Ljubljana Airport: the journey time of the one-way trip is 30 minutes. To arrange your trip contact GoOpti company on wodknadgw (approx. 7 EUR one-way). By taxi The taxi rank is right in front of the terminal. Taxis are available according to the actual arrivals of flights. A fare from the Airport to Ljubljana City costs approximately 35 EUR (depending on the desired destination of the trip). How to reach the Biotechnical Faculty; Agronomy Department? By public bus: Take the bus at busses stop Ajdovscina or Konzorcij on Slovenska street busses number 14 direction VRHOVCI or 14B direction BOKALCE. For traveling with public busses you have to buy an URBANA card (2 EUR), which should be charged (1.20 EUR for one journey of 90 min), which should be validated at the bus entrance; available at kiosks (news-stands) or nearby machines.

3 You have to leave the bus at JAMNIKARJEVA stop (in front of a small fruit seller) (6 th stop from Konzocij station or 7 th stop from Ajdovscina station) and go back (cca. 50 m) and turn left on Jamnikarjeva street. You have to pass straight through Jamnikarjeva and on the end of the street turn left (portiere, ramp) and go to the second building on the right. Urbana card:

4 Walking distance from Jamnikarjeva bus stop to the Faculty (5 min) By taxi: You can take taxi from all accommodations around Ljubljana. The suggested taxi companies are available on phones: Metro taxi: Taxi Ronda: The cost of trip from centre to the faculty should be around 5.00 to 7.00 EUR.
