1 PB.802 VERSION Young Cheddar Cheese (GDT Young) from Fonterra is a semi-hard, cured, rindless cheese designed as a base cheese for process cheese applications. Young Cheddar Cheese (GDT Young) consistently delivers a firm, smooth texture and mild cheddar flavour. Product Characteristics > Imparts a mild cheddar flavour > Firm, smooth texture > Is produced in a sophisticated manufacturing plant to ensure product consistency > Typical weight of the bulk block is 20kg Suggested Uses > A flexible cheese for processed cheese applications as it carries both flavour and some functionality Packaging Each block is vacuum packed and sealed in a coextruded barrier film. The blocks are then packed in a multi-lingual corrugated cardboard case and stacked onto a slip sheet.
