3 EATON HYDRAULICS Suggestion: When replacing either the pump or motor, it is recommended that both units be changed out and the hydraulic system flushed to clean the hoses, filter & reservoir of any contaminents When ordering or requesting quote information on pump and motors, it is important that you have the Pump or Motor Model and Serial #s. There are alot of variable options that have been used in the mixer industry. So to ensure you get exactly the same units or parts for your repair job check these number first. 16-3

6 SUNDSTRAND HYDRAULICS The Sundstrand Model # is necessary for identification of the specific unit. The Model # must be used when ordering parts. First 2 digits identify the series 20 thru 27. Typically, the mixer manufacture used a 21 to 23 series pump and motor combination. Depending on the gearbox reduction ratio the motor might be the same series as the pump or on step down so the drum rotates at the proper mixing speed. The next number in the Model # indicates pump or motor #2 for pump & #3 for motor. The last 3 numbers identify such items as type of control, shaft (tapered or splined) pressure settings, rotation - clockwise or counter clockwise 16-6
