3 What is OneDrive for Business? OneDrive for Business is a place where you can store your work files. As part of Office 365, OneDrive for Business lets you access your files from anywhere and work on Office documents with others at the same time.

6 How to Store Documents There are three different ways to add files to OneDrive Create documents online Upload documents Create document using Office suite 2013 and higher and save it to OneDrive for Business

11 Access OneDrive for Business Via Client The OneDrive client is available for Windows, ipad, Mac, and Android. Download the client for PC users: Go to onedrive.com > Download > select your operating system > Download now. If you need installation instructions click on See installation instructions. Download the client for Mac users: Beta version of OneDrive for Business is available for Mac users Click here to download OneDrive for Business Mac sync client Preview Go to App Store or Google play to download the client for ipad or Android devices.

12 Sync OneDrive for Business Main Library (Document) to Your PC Computer 1. Go to your OneDrive for Business via a browser. 2. Select the Document folder > Sync icon > Sync Now > Show my Files to go to the synced library folder. 3. This will sync your files in the document folder to your PC client. 4. You will see your files in File Explorer s Favorites.

14 Sync the Folders That Are Shared With You to Your PC Computer 1. If you want to sync a folder that is shared with you, you must select the folder and then click the Sync icon. 2. You must do this for each folder that is shared with you one time. 3. You will see your shared folders in File Explorer s Favorites > SharePoint

15 How to Manage Your Drive Rename, delete, share your folders and files using Manage button If you share a folder all the files in that folder will be shared

16 Share File or Folder You can share with more than one person You can give them edit or view permission With edit permission, you will be able to see the changes they made You can always change the permission or discontinue sharing your document

17 Tips When you access OneDrive from OWA You cannot upload a folder to the OneDrive You cannot move files and folders easily in OneDrive It is best to share at the folder level There is a folder in your OneDrive named Shared with Everyone. All the files in this folder are shared with everyone in the campus. Most people would rather to delete this folder.

20 Sharing a Shared File When you attempt to share a shared file The original owner will get an message
