1 FIS Skicross Europa Cup Bardonecchia February 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd 2017 Bardonecchia ski resort and the Italian Ski Federation are pleased to invite all freestyle nations to attend the FIS Freestyle Europa Cup to be held at Bardonecchia on the February 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd In order to help you with the preparation of your team s visit, you will find following all the information regarding the race. We ask each national association to fill the enclosed entry form and send it back as soon as possible. 1. Rules The Bardonecchia resort, Italian Ski Freestyle Association are organising an international Europa Cup Skicross competition, part of the 2017 FIS Freestyle Europa Cup. The competition will be held under FIS rules and regulation for freestyle skiing. This competition is a skicross event and is open to both men and women This competition will follow an official program that will be available to all participants The organizing committee reserve the right to change the schedule and the program depending on snow conditions, weather or the decision of the competition jury

2 3. Entries Entries will be accepted from the National ski Associations in accordance with the FIS qualification quotas and rules for the Freestyle Europa Cup. No cheques, no CB, or travellers cheques will be accepted. Price 50 CHF 47 / per person and per event. 5. Accommodation Teams are free to book the accommodation of their choice. Please we recommend to all the teams to check their accommodation availability with the organizing committee as soon as possible. 3 6. Race office Team Captains Meeting The team Captains meeting will be held in Palazzo delle Feste 7. Bibs and Helmets It is necessary for all competitors to wear bibs and helmets during official training, competitions and award ceremony (bib only). A penalty will be given to any competitor who does not wear his/her bib. Each Team leader will be asked to deposit 10 per bib. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the competitions when bibs are returned. 8. Liability All competitors, officials and other members of their National Association who attend or participate in the event shall do so at their own risk. The Organizing committee Bardonecchia, the Italian Freestyle Ski Association, sponsors and suppliers, employees and volunteers shall not be held responsible for any losses or injuries incurred or suffered by competitors, officials or other persons in conjunction with the organisation or staging of the event. All participants are urged not to be negligent in safeguarding their personal belongings at all times. 9. Accident Insurance Every competitor must be individually medically insured. The Organizing Committee, Bardonecchia ski resort, the FIS and the Italian Ski Association will not be held responsible for accidents, damaged equipment during the training and competitions. 10. Accident Protocol In case of an accident on the course during the event, medical personnel from the Organizing Committee and Ski Patrol will be responsible for any medical decision or evacuation to the local hospital.
