1 AMERICAN FARM BUREAU CONVENTION PHOENIX, ARIZONA January 6 11, 2017 The AFBF Convention will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, on January 6 11, This convention allows for members from across the nation to come together for business, educational, and networking opportunities. It is also the time when delegates will adopt policies for the coming year, and elect leadership to guide these policies forward. New York Farm Bureau has a block of rooms at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. The room rate for the AFBF Convention is $159.00/night/single or double (approximately $ with taxes). Each guestroom features the Hilton Serenity Bed that includes Suite Dreams mattress and box spring, Super Topper mattress pad, down duvet, and Touch of Down pillows. Guestrooms also has alarm clock radio with MP3 connectivity, two-dual-line phones with data port, cable televisions, WiFi access, remote printing, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. The resort also features ATM, shops, basketball court, Coyote Kid s Camp, fitness room, full-service spa & salon, hiking trail, miniature putting course, playground pool and tennis court. 2 AFBF CONVENTION REGISTRATION The registration fee for the Convention is $100/person. This fee provides attendees with a name badge which allows you admittance to all conferences, the general sessions, the Foundation Silent Auction, and the trade show. All attendees should register for the AFBF Convention through the convention website, When registering, you will have the opportunity to sign up for the Foundation events (Flapjack Fundraiser and Foundation Night Out) ag tours, and Leadership Lunch. Full payment for your registration and other events will be required at the time you register. All members will need to check in at the AFBF Registration Desk to pick up their name badges and a program, along with tickets for any event that members signed up for. CONVENTION HIGHLIGHTS Saturday, January 7 and Tuesday, January 10: Agricultural Tours Arizona Farm Bureau has put together a variety of agricultural tours. Please refer to the convention website (Events & Experiences) for information on all the tours and to register. See future leaders of Farm Bureau, and agriculture in general, discuss highly relevant issues that affect our industry today. 4:00 p.m. Celebration of Grassroots Reception - IDEAg Trade Show Sweet 16 and Achievement Award Top 10 Announcements

The Foundation will also announce the coveted Book of the Year title. Register for tickets at 1:15 p.m. YF&R Discussion Meet Sweet 16 4:30 p.m. Town Hall - IDEAg Trade Show Closes Hear from leaders in agriculture as they touch on issues facing the industry and goals they have for the future. This session is a time where you can get your questions answered as well as learn from the insight of our leaders. 5:30 p.m. IDEAg Trade Show Closes Monday, January 9: 8:30 a.m. IDEAg Trade Show Opens 9:00 a.m. YF&R Discussion Meet Final Four IDEAg Trade Show 11:15 a.m. Closing General Session 1:00 p.m. Taste of America IDEAg Trade Show Taste of America will feature foods from across the country by region. We received an overwhelming response from state Farm Bureaus (thank you!) making it much more cost effective to do it by region.

The Texas Tenors have accumulated a long list of awards, accolades and excited fans. They use breathtaking vocals, humor and a touch of cowboy charm to create an unforgettable live show.
