3 Every page listed below outlines the required criteria and qualifications, as well as award amount for each individual SBA scholarship. If a scholarship requires a letter of recommendation, please feel free to inform the individual recommending you that they may send this documentation to Meaghan Cole, instead of directly sharing with you. The SBA Scholarship Application form can only be submitted once, thus please apply for every scholarship of interest (if you meet the required criteria) before submitting the form. Brian Meer Endowed Scholarship *Please only complete this SBA Scholarship page if you are applying for the Brian Meer Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship was established in 2007 to assist students pursuing a degree in the School of Business Administration. It is not automatically renewable but may be renewed if the student re-applies and continues to satisfy the eligibility requirements. Enrolled at least part-time in the SBA, taking a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester Earned 56 credit hours, must have taken a minimum of 24 credit hours at OU Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.8 Candidates seeking nomination for the Brian Meer Endowed Scholarship must submit the following: The SBA Scholarship Application that outlines the Brian Meer Endowed Scholarship Application Letter of recommendation (upload included below) One-page essay describing how this award will assist you either directly or indirectly in successfully completing your studies and obtaining your undergraduate degree (upload included below) $1000 one-year Please upload your letter of recommendation for the Brian Meer Endowed Scholarship: Please upload a one-page essay describing how this award will assist you either directly or indirectly in successfully completing your studies and obtaining your undergraduate degree: Diane and Michael Grieves Endowed Diversity Scholarship *Please only complete this SBA Scholarship page if you are applying for the Diane and Michael Grieves Endowed Diversity Scholarship. The Diane and Michael Grieves Scholarship is intended to assist economically disadvantaged students pursuing degrees in Management Information Systems at Oakland University with educational expenses. Candidates must be enrolled full-time in the School of Business Administration taking a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester Must have MIS major standing Earned 56 credit hours, with a minimum of 24 credit hours taken at OU Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.60 United States citizen or a legal permanent resident Candidates seeking nomination for the Diane and Michael Grieves Endowed Diversity Scholarship must submit the following: The SBA Scholarship Application that outlines the Diane and Michael Grieves Endowed Diversity Scholarship Letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the School of Business Administration and/or an Oakland University Administrator outside the School of Business (upload included below) Copy of Financial Aid award letter received from OU (upload included below) Written statement that addresses why you are deserving of the Grieves Scholarship (including academic achievement, community/civic involvement, Page 3 of School of Business Administration Scholarship Application

Gale Blank Copple Economics Endowed Scholarship *Please only complete this SBA Scholarship page if you are applying for the Gale Blank Copple Economics Endowed Scholarship Earned 56 credit hours Minimum of 30 credit hours remaining to complete their bachelor's degree in economics Applicants must have completed at least four economics courses with a minimum GPA of 3.3 in those courses and have an overall GPA of at least 3.0 Applicants must be members of Oakland University's Women's Economic Society Be enrolled full-time in the SBA with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester Candidates seeking nomination for the Gale Blank Copple Economics Endowed Scholarship must submit the following: Include a 500-word statement/essay discussing the one economic concept or theory that has most enhanced your understanding of the world in which you live and/or work. $2,500 Please include your 500-word statement/essay discussing the one economic concept or theory that has most enhanced your understanding of the world in which you live and/or work. 5 Enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits per semester during Fall and Winter terms Must be Pell Grant Eligible Must be from Oakland, Macomb or Lapeer County $2500 Marvin L. Katke Endowed Scholarship *Please only complete this SBA Scholarship page if you are applying for the Marvin L. Katke Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship was established in 1999 to assist SBA students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and extra-curricular and/or civic involvement. This is a one-year scholarship for students pursuing a degree in the School of Business Administration. Be enrolled full-time in the SBA with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester Earned 56 credit hours, with a minimum of 24 credit hours at Oakland University Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 Candidates seeking nomination for the Marvin L. Katke Scholarship must submit the following: Letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the School of Business Administration and/or an Oakland University Administrator outside the School of Business (upload included below) Written statement that addresses why the applicant is deserving of the Katke Scholarship (including academic achievement, community/civic involvement, special awards and honors, etc.) Other supporting evidence of academic performance and extra-curricular and/or civic involvement $2,500 Please upload a letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the School of Business Administration and/or an Oakland University Administrator outside the School of Business for the Marvin L. Mukesh Bhargava Memorial Endowed Scholarship *Please only complete this SBA Scholarship page if you are applying for the Mukesh Bhargava Memorial Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship was created in 2013 to honor Mukesh Bharghava, a distinguished marketing faculty member at Oakland for eighteen years. This is a one-year scholarship for students pursuing a degree in marketing, with demonstrated financial need. Be enrolled part-time in the SBA with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester Earned 56 credit hours, with a minimum of 12 credit hours at Oakland University Page 5 of School of Business Administration Scholarship Application

This is a one-year scholarship for a student pursuing a degree in the School of Business Administration. Candidates must be enrolled in the School of Business Administration taking a minimum of 8 credit hours per semester Earned 28 credit hours with a minimum of 12 credit hours at Oakland University Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 Candidates must have completed MTH 122 with a grade of 2.0 or better Candidates seeking nomination for the SBA Tower Scholarship must submit the following: Letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the School of Business Administration and/or an Oakland University Administrator outside the School of Business (upload included below) Written statement that addresses why the applicant is deserving of the SBA Tower Scholarship Other supporting evidence of academic performance and extra-curricular and/or civic involvement $2,000 Please upload a letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the School of Business Administration and/or an Oakland University Administrator outside the School of Business for the SBA Tower Scholarship: Please include a written statement that addresses why the applicant is deserving of the Tower Scholarship (including academic achievement, community/civic involvement, special awards and honors, etc.). Sid and Bani Mittra Ecnomics Merit Scholarship *Please only complete this SBA Scholarship page if you are applying for the Sid and Bani Mittra Economics Merit Scholarship. This scholarship is given to a student pursuing a degree in economics in the School of Business Administration and who has exhibited an outstanding combination of academic performance and extracurricular activities. 7 Major Standing in Economics Currently enrolled in at least one economics class at OU Candidates seeking nomination for the Sid and Bani Mittra Economics Merit Scholarship must submit the following: Letter of recommendation (upload included below) One-page essay describing how this award will assist you either directly or indirectly in successfully completing your studies and obtaining your undergraduate degree (upload included below) $2000 Please upload your letter of recommendation Please upload your one-page essay describing how this award will assist you either directly or indirectly in successfully completing your studies and obtaining your undergraduate degree Stephan and Rita Sharf Endowed Scholarship *Please only complete this SBA Scholarship page if you are applying for the Stephan and Rita Sharf Endowed Scholarship. The Stephan and Rita Sharf Endowed Scholarship was established with the School of Business Administration at Oakland University to assist a talented student pursuing a career in business administration. This one-year scholarship is for tuition and books recognizing the plight of many able students who, for the lack of adequate financial resources, are unable to complete the higher education and training necessary to enter the professional field of business. TMBKS (DIS) Family Scholarship Award *Please only complete this SBA Scholarship page if you are applying for the TMBKS (DIS) Family Scholarship Award This scholarship, applied to OU tuition, is available to qualified undergraduate junior or senior students who have achieved major standing in Decision and Information Sciences.
