1 The Yale Family In 1908 Rodney Horace Yale published The Yales And Wales, which contains information on the Yale Family back to approximately the year 850. His grandson, Donald Rodney Yale, published the second edition of The Yales And Wales sometime after There is a great deal of biographical text regarding the earlier ancestors of the Yales in the book published by The Yale Family: it is not my intention to copy that information into this chapter of Many Branches Of A Family Tree. First Generation 1. John 1 Yale, son of David Lloyd Ap Ellis and Gwenwhyfar Lloyd, birth date unknown. He married twice. He married Elizabeth Mostyn. Elizabeth is the daughter of Thomas Mostyn.
