It s time for a breakthrough. What is Breakthrough Academy? Breakthrough Academy is not your typical personal growth company. We think about things a little differently. We don t promote a product or a person. We don t make promises we can t keep. We know that at the end of the day the only thing that matters are the breakthroughs we see in our clients. What we do best is work with people. And we happen to be the best at giving people the tools they need to get from stuck to unstuck, plain and simple. We don t limit ourselves by any one methodology, instead we tailor personal growth to each individual. Each one of our clients has their own story to tell. Their own journey that s unique to them. We could try to tell you all about what we do at Breakthrough Academy, but we know that our clients stories say more about what we do than we ever could. We invite you to hear what our clients have to say...

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR MEANING AND PURPOSE? Lance always knew that there was more to life than just doing the normal day to day things and tells us about his journey to true Meaning and Purpose! But let s let him tell the story... The stuff you can do when you ve got the belief in yourself, and you ve got the skills and the right people around you, can really bring out the best in you. One of the coolest things was meeting people who could see things within me something that I couldn t see within myself. Lance Jenkins Melbourne, VIC

LANCE S STORY I always kind of knew that there s something more that I was actually looking for in my life. I always knew that the general run of the mill of getting up and going to work, coming home, just repeating that process again and again and really having nothing more than the weekend to look forward to. What I was really looking for was something beyond that. Something that gave my life a bit more focus, a bit more meaning. I was just looking. I didn t know what I was looking for but I was just looking for something. I tried so many different things. I tried getting involved in different things, reading books. I ve been along to all different kinds of events. I Iooked up to different people and tried a lot of different ideas, a lot of different things but the coolest thing about where on these days is the journey I was taking has made a big shift for me and I really found myself now like with myself. Nowadays I m cool with who I am. I m living a life that...at one stage, it was really only ever a dream. So, for me, that s pretty huge. On the journey, I guess I didn t really notice that day by day but looking back over the years, it s like wow. The stuff that you really can do when you ve got the belief in yourself and you got the skills and the right people and environment around you to really bring out the best in you. One of the coolest things was meeting people that can see within me something that I couldn t see within myself. That s always amazed me. The people that you come across in your life and they see something within you and I suppose having that faith with them and then eventually within yourself to move forward and I don t know, just live. It s really cool to now be in a place where I can appreciate that and I can accept that and for me, that is sort of last about being able to influence somebody, somebody that s so special to you being able to know that you re being real with yourself, being the person that you are, being everything that you can be to live and connect and really be there with the people that you care about and for Nowadays I m cool with who I am. I m living a life that...at one stage, it was really only ever a dream. the people that you care about. Being everything you can for yourself and being everything you can for them. I suppose helping them be everything they can. So, for me, I suppose my journey is one of the biggest things. Before I got involved and started along my journey I was a bit lost. I didn t really know what I wanted. Now my life just feels so much fulfilled. Much richer, much larger than just week to week and really having the site now of going, What does this mean for me for me now? Not just in this future and not just the immediate future, not this week, not next month but years from now and really being able to take that everything that I am and being able to share that with the world, with my son and do that over long term. Some of the biggest benefits that I ve had for I supposed within myself for me and for my family is just more of a sense of being myself, of living my I supposed my true journey being able to be more of myself, being able to connect more from here I suppose more so than from here and I m just really appreciating every moment with my boy. I appreciate it with my beautiful wife, with Jo. Just being more okay with me I suppose in a big way is what most of the difference because until you re okay with yourself and it s pretty hard to be okay with some people around you and that s definitely the biggest thing for sure.

Her strength, courage, and dedication is a huge inspiration...hear about her amazing journey now! I was overweight and sad for 15 years and then I had enough. And it wasn t easy because I had to face some stuff I didn t want to face. But even though it wasn t easy, it was worth it. Melisa Grigg Adelaide, SA

MELISA S STORY So you re probably in a place where you re not sure who to trust. And who am I? I m nobody. I m sitting in front of you and telling you a story about how I used to be. And who are you to believe that? Cause seriously you get told stories every day. And people tell you stuff everyday and say this is how I used to be or try to spin the story but all I can say is that I was there and it took a long time for somebody to come along who said to me the thing that made a difference to me. I don t know what the thing is that you need to hear for it to make a difference to you and I don t. I can only hope that somebody comes along and says that. Because if they can help you to be the best you wanna be, and do the things you wanna do and when you think about why you re sitting on the couch and what s the thing you re hiding from, why you re hiding from life? Cause it s out there to be lived. When I was fat I was sitting around a lot at home and not doing very much. I d just spend my time in front of the TV or reading magazines and feeling really bad about the fact that I don t look like those girls and do that stuff. But I d just deny it and have something to eat or make something, bake stuff for other people cause they love it, and you get to eat as well. And feel good and escape from the fact that maybe you don t like the way that you look in the mirror. I didn t have any energy and I didn t feel like doing anything. I didn t feel like going out and I d stay at home. I didn t have many friends. I didn t like wearing normal clothes. I d just wear comfy things. I just did stuff that felt right. That felt good. That didn t feel... like I would stand out. I didn t want to stand out. I just wanted to disappear into the background and I did that by eating and... staying at home and... just hiding away and... Imagining that maybe someway my life would be different. Every day was hard. Every day was hard. I d wake in my job. And I d do good stuff and people loved it. But I d go in the back-room and I d cry. A lot. And I wasn t okay with that. And I hid away from people. And nobody understood why, like I d be so happy on the outside and so good with people but inside it wasn t like that. Inside I was scared and I was alone and I didn t know what I was doing. Ever. I didn t know what I was doing in my job, I didn t know what I was doing in my life. I was just cruising and doing what I thought everyone else expected of me. Now I know that it s not external things that give me the feelings I want to have. I know that I have it inside me and I can have that any time.. I was overweight and I was sad for 15 years and then then I had enough. So I listened to the one person that said that there was a way that I could be not sad. Didn t promise me that I d be happy. Just promised that I d be not as sad. So I did every single thing that that person told me to do. And it wasn t easy cause I had to face some stuff I didn t really wanna face. But even though it wasn t easy, it was worth it. And the more stuff you face the better it gets. And now I am more positive than negative. Now I have people in my life that help me to see how magnificent life is. And I know how to tap into that place inside me that is happy and that is centered and that is funny and has fun and is cool. But I do that myself. I have other people that help me, but I don t need them. They re just good fun to be around. Now I know that it s not external things that give me the feelings I wanna have. I know that I have it inside me and I can have that any time. I can choose to be happy in like a second, in a heartbeat. I can choose to be whatever I choose to be. I can choose to love and to have fun. Before the future was like same and dark and all that whereas now it s like well I ve got so much to do and I got too much to do. I got way too much to do. I have no problem with having fun with friends or having stuff to do. I have a problem with time now. I want to do heaps of stuff for the next eighty years. That s just a matter of doing it. So now I get up everyday and I go do it. I go do the things that I know that I can do to be the best that I can be in business. To be the best I can be in my personal life, my relationships, in everything I m doing. And I m always trying to be the best I can be, I guess. So I can be a better example to people. So I can be a better leader for my family, for myself, for my friends.

DO YOU THINK ALL THE TIME AND CAN T TURN YOUR THINKING OFF? Words can t express how significant this episode is! So many people these days get stuck in their thinking self. Being able to turn this addictive thinking off and truly feel emotion can totally change and significantly impact not only the fulfillment of someone s life but their entire relationship with themselves and others. Dustin shares this journey in a truly heartfelt episode. But let s let him tell the story I was caught up myself always thinking and thinking, but once I was able to stop that and really, just feel, it really changed everything for me. So many emotions I can just flow through me and then connect with somebody else at a level that I wasn t capable before that. Dustin Williams Brisbane, QLD

DUSTIN S STORY Most of my life I was caught up in my head, stuck into a computer kind of, looking at the wall for different words that were code, like some sort of logical thing that I could think my way around that I could, approach of people as though they were computers. That was really the only way I thought that I could communicate to people. I was completely missing the emotional component the, the connection, the things we actually feel with someone else. I was unable to really access that because I was stuck so much in thinking and thinking. I thought that thinking was the only way to really get anywhere in life, that it was all about being smart, being intelligent. I thought that I could think my way to any problem to any situation and eventually get what I wanted. But the thing is people aren t computers, and it was a huge thing for me, when I realized what I was missing out on. I discovered that really what I was missing was being able to access my feelings my emotions at a certain level that would allow me to connect with people. What I came to realize was I d been missing out on so much in life by treating everything like a computer. Like over thinking everything that I ve been really missing out on. The emotions and experiences and the things that really make people feel human, because I, I d just really hadn t realized that that there was more than thinking. I thought that thinking was the best way to approach everything. But I came to realize, that, really there s so much more in life. And that s when I started to feel the, pain of the way I was that really push me through. Before my breakthrough I couldn t really feel emotions. Compared to what I can now it was about 10 percent. I remember sitting down, looking at a brick wall and thinking, I wish I could touch that, I wish I could touch that and I really feel what I felt like, and I just felt so much pain inside that I couldn t, I couldn t really feel what, what things actually for, it was like a massive of barrier between me and the rest of the world. And when I finally had my breakthrough it was like being five years old again because that was the last time I d felt emotions in that level. When you re stuck in your head, it s such a massive barrier between you and the rest of the world. That it s, impossible to really sense things and pick things up at that level and, the difference it makes, talking to people is really incredible because, when you are When I finally had my breakthrough, it was like being five years old again because that was the last time I d felt emotions at that level. in your head, you only think about the words you are saying. You only think about what the words the people are saying. It s like you missed so much meaning and so much communication. But when you are able to just communicate with somebody directly and you drop the shyness and just be yourself, then that s when you re able to really feel how the other person feels and connect with them on a level that I haven t been able to do with my entire life. And when I discovered that it was, naturally massive and changed everything. Since my breakthrough it s completely changed my life. It s changed the way that, that I interact to people, it s like I feel like I m comfortable just being myself and being natural and just connecting with people. Even like something, like buying a coffee or something is so much more pleasurable now because I get to connect with the people behind the counter. I get to say hey how s it going? and, and you know just to have that moment with somebody. I get to have so many any of those moments every day. Even just walking down the street, just smiling at somebody is such a pleasurable experience that I d never experienced before because I was caught up in my head always thinking and thinking and thinking. But once I was able to, to stop that and really, just feel, feel what s around me, my surroundings and be in the moment it really changed everything for me. It changed everything really because, just being able to touch things like feeling clothing, feeling another person when I m giving them a hug, and feeling my partner in a relationship and being able to connect with them and give the gift of love at a level that was 10 times, a 100 times higher.

HAVING TROUBLE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP? Dougie s story is amazing! He was having real troubles in his relationship area, but let s let him tell the story... After my breakthrough, it s like, when someone gives you a gift for your birthday, it s wrapped up in a box, it s got a ribbon on it. But when you open it, you ve found a treasure you can t explain, it s unspeakable joy that s just so close to you. Dougie Misipeka Brisbane, QLD

DOUGIE S STORY Our relationship was in a mess, we weren t talking, Absolutely were not talking. I became a grumpy person, really difficult person to handle. I remember the time when I pushed my whole family away from me. I actually went into my sort of cave, I didn t want to talk to anybody. The pressures in my life were pretty tough for me. When you re alone, there s no way anyone could help you. I wanted to, I want to share to, be sincere to me, I want to be comforted but it wasn t there. I retracted to my own world. I used to feel selfish, I used to reject people, reject people around me, and my family, I pushed them away, trying to give a grasp of what I was going through and what was I was experiencing. After that, after I understood going through my experiences not only one breakthrough but many, I realized that I just can t let people that so close to me, all go away from from me. I could only express how they would look from my position as at they are lot happier than I was before, I was really a terrible person, I was really direct, I was really abrupt, it wasn t that person that my children grow up. After my breakthrough, you know when a person get so happy, and when a person, how would I say this, it s like when you, when someone gives you a gift for your birthday, it s wrapped up in a box, it s got a ribbon on it, it s a red ribbon, the box is gold but when you open it, and you found a treasure on it, you can t explain, it s unspeakable joy that s just so close to you. But tell you, I m grateful that I go through breakthrough, to realize at my shortcomings. I can share my feelings more now than I ever did before. Now I feel perfect. When things look stressful I m not stressed. I can take control of my life. Well, I went home after my breakthrough that day. I drove back to home and I woke my wife up. I said Shaz, Shaz, I ve learned something. I ve learned how to listen to you. I learned how much she means to me as I ve never experienced that before. I can share my feelings more now than I ever did before. Now I feel perfect. When things look stressful I m not stressed. I can take control of my life. Guys, do you understand that there is a certain school for listening and when you listen, especially to someone that you love, it makes the biggest difference? I learned this skill now use it every day so I can relate better to my wife. Do you want to hear it? Okay now, this is for the guys only The idea is that when you listen, you grab your partner, you sit them down. Then you ll say to them How s your day been, darling? What have you been up to? And then what the guys need to do, is shut up. Zip your mouths, open your ears, and eyes front. Your eyes need to be on your partner s eyes. You cannot take your eyes off your partner because you love her so much. Do not take your eyes off to your partner. And your partner will speak to you about what happened during the day. Then here s the trick, now remember this guys As your partner, your wife, your girlfriend is speaking to you, telling you her story of the day, she ll say this, What do you think darling? Oooh, here s the trick, don t say anything. Guys, do not say anything because she does not want you tell her something. What you should say is, No dear, what else dear. The idea is that, women, they don t want us to talk, they only want us to listen. And when you listen, guys, it makes the biggest difference. So now I listen...all the time.

Prerequisites to attend Breakthrough Academy Our courses are one of a kind, we don t just let anyone enroll. We limit our numbers, we re commonly booked out 6 months in advance and there s a selection process because we take your attendance, our clients results and your time very seriously. I m sure you ve been to those 1000 people events where you never get to ask your questions or meet the person helping you. At Breakthrough Academy we keep our attendee numbers low and our Support Team high so we can give you the attention you need and a personal experience which is why we re the best in the industry. In fact, the minimum amount of time we spend with a client is 170 hours. Why? Because we re interested in helping you get unstuck, getting your life back on track and help you finally find what you ve been looking for. Not just for now but for the long term. The thing is, people pick up their behaviours over the first 20 years of their life and then expect to be able to change that 20 years of conditioning in a few hours or even a day. We ve all seen the books, magazines and television that promise One or Two Steps to Success or Five Keys to Freedom and what happens with this quick fix mentality is that quite often people go back to the way they were or sometimes even worse. That s why we re different. Because we know it takes a little bit more than just a promise or a statement to create permanent change and if you read our clients stories, you have to admit our results are impressive. We want to make sure you re the right fit for Breakthrough Academy and if you are then we ll do our absolute best to help you change your life.
