3 Affinity Building Automation HVACR Drive The Affinity Building Automation drive is built for HVACR applications with the flexibility and performance to work flawlessly with all major building management systems. The combination of forty years of drive and controls experience with the direct input of building operators, consultants and contractors is the cornerstone of this advanced, easy-to-operate HVACR AC drive. All units are capable of 110% of their continuous rating for 1 minute. Motor horsepower ratings are based on typical NEMA Design B, 4-pole motor current ratings. Actual motor currents should be checked before selecting a particular drive. For some high efficiency motors, the required full load motor current may allow the selection of a smaller drive than is indicated in the chart. The same consideration also applies for motors with less common power or voltage ratings. 5 Programming and Configuration Affinity SmartCard This is a standard feature that enables simple configuration using stored or preset macros. The SmartCard can: Download pre-programmed macros for intuitive configuration of HVACR drives Copy a complete set of parameters to other drives Save multiple complete sets of parameters Set up an application as parameter differences from default Automatically save all user parameter changes for maintenance purposes Load complete motor map parameters Free Software CTSoft enables complete control and display of all parameters within the drive. This Windows software can be used off-line in the office or on-line connected to the drive. Other software includes an Energy Savings Estimator and Harmonics Calculator which help you economically meet the required standards for your installation. PC Connectivity Option CT-Comms-Cable or CT-USB-Cable Either of these standard pre-made cables can connect a PC to the Affinity via its RJ45/RS485 port. Solution Modules for Added Flexibility Up to two Solution Modules can be used to tailor Affinity drives to special communication and I/O requirements.
