1 From Schiphol to Amsterdam Central station The quickest way to get from Schiphol to Amsterdam Central station (1) is by train. The train station is located under Schiphol plaza, a short walking distance from all terminals and very well indicated. You can buy the ticket in the yellow ticket machines whilst waiting for your luggage. These machines take also international credit/debit cards. The machines in the airport lobby take only credit/debit cards issued in the Netherlands. You can also buy the ticket at the NS ticket office, but extra 0.50 service costs are charged to the 3.70 one way ticket. 2 From Amsterdam Central station to Vondelpark Plaza Hotel Address of the Vondelpark Plaza Hotel: Koninginneweg 34/36 Amsterdam Take tram number 2 (direction Nieuw Sloten) and get off at the Emmastraat stop after minutes. Check the route map in the tram. Continue in the direction of the tram and you reach B, as indicated on the map. Tram 2 halts at the right side in front of the Central station. 3 From Schiphol to Bussum Zuid station facing Bastion Hotel The best way to get from Schiphol to Bussum Zuid station (A) is by train. The train station is located under Schiphol plaza, a short walking distance from all terminals and very well indicated. You can buy the ticket in the yellow ticket machines whilst waiting for your luggage. These machines take also international credit/debit cards. The machines in the airport lobby take only credit/debit cards issued in the Netherlands. You can also buy the ticket at the NS ticket office, but extra 0.50 service costs are charged to the 5.70 one way ticket. Take the all stations train, the so-called stoptrein in the direction of Hilversum/Utrecht. 4 From Amsterdam Vondelpark Plaza to Bussum Zuid train station Take tram number 2 to Central Station Amsterdam. The screenshot indicates the proper all station train ( stoptrein ) to Bussum Zuid in order to be on time. As most of the foreign credit/debit cards do not work in the yellow train ticket purchasing machines, you have to buy your ticket in the ticket sale office. 4

Now take the zebra crossing and continue into Prinsenstraat on your right. At the end (there are traffic lights) keep left, but no sharp left turn. Continue till the roundabout, there is a church on your right hand side, walk past the church into the shopping street called Huizerweg on your right. Walk to the end: when there are no more shops on the left, turn left. There is a park on your right. Take the first street left, walk to the T-crossing at the end and enter the house you face. Walking time is between 12 and 15 minutes, depending on your physical condition. Please ask in the hotel for a map of Bussum. 6 From Amsterdam Central station to Artis Congress Centre Address of the WageIndicator conference event: Artis Congress Centre Plantage Middenlaan 41a-43 Amsterdam The best way of getting from Amsterdam Central station to the Artis Congress Centre is to take tram number 9 direction Diemen Sniep. The tram stops in front of the East entrance to the Central station opposite the GVB Tickets & Info office. Tram 9 runs approximately every seven minutes during the morning rush hour. You can buy the ticket at the conductor s desk for 1.60 or you can buy a strippenkaart at the GVB Tickets & Info office. You should get off at Plantage Kerklaan which is the 7th stop from the Central station after about 10 minutes. Check the route map in the tram. When you get off the tram follow the street in the direction the tram goes and you will see the Artis Congress Centre on your left hand side. Do not walk all the way down to the Artis ZOO entrance. 7 From Vondelpark Plaza Hotel to Artis Congress Centre Address of the WageIndicator conference event: Artis Congress Centre Plantage Middenlaan 41a-43 Amsterdam Take tram number 2 direction Central station and get off at the Koningsplein stop; then it is about 5 minutes walk taking the Heiligeweg and Olieslagerssteeg. At the end of Olieslagerssteeg you turn right to Rokin to the tram number 14 (direction Flevopark) or tram number 9 (direction Diemen Sniep) stop (see the below screenshot). The ticket you bought on tram number 2 is valid for 1 hour so you do not have to buy a new one, just show it to the conductor. The stop where you have to get off tram number 14 is Plantage Kerklaan, the 4 th stop. Check the route map in the tram. 7

8 From the Artis Congress Centre to De Burcht Address of the dinner event: De Burcht Henri Polaklaan 9 Amsterdam De Burcht is only a short walk from the Artis Congress Centre.
