1 Sony Launches VAIO TV Side PC for Digital Home Radical Styling Brings Bold New Approach to Computing and Multimedia Enjoyment Hong Kong, November 20, 2007 Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Limited today unveiled the VAIO VGX-TP1G, an avant-garde TV Side PC that unites AV and PC technologies for sharing of multimedia enjoyment with family and friends. Featuring an elegant chassis in circular design, the VAIO VGX-TP1G is a first-of-its-kind innovation that bridges the gap between the PC and TV for an all-round home entertainment experience. Just 27cm in diameter, the pioneering VAIO TV Side PC looks stylish from any angle. Its small spherical shape is designed to fit next to a flat-panel TV such as the BRAVIA LCD TV, providing endless entertainment possibilities. The family can enjoy multimedia entertainment or surf the Internet together on a big TV screen through a single HDMI cable.
