When figuring your tuition, be aware some classes are an hour and some are more than an hour. There will be NO REFUNDS. For ease, we encourage auto recurring tuition, (next page in packet). A $25.00 late fee will be added after the 10 th! Newsletters and Reminders are sent via . This includes changes, rehearsal, and recital details. Please be certain your is current and clearly legible on your registration form.! December 1 st Recital Costume fees are due. There are NO REFUNDS on costumes. There will be a $10 costume fee added for all costumes paid after December 10 th.! 4 Page 2 of Registration and Tuition Information Welcome to Studio One Dance Academy. We hope that you will choose to dance with us all year round. Our classes run on a monthly basis with the end of the year recital on Saturday June 24, Rehearsal is the day before, Friday June 23, We also have an open house in December to show family and friends what we have been working on. In mid-november, pictures of recital costumes will be posted and the costume fees will be due by December 1st. (Costs usually run between $55-$70 dollars per costume). The tickets are sold online. Parents are notified by when tickets are available (including two free per family). Additional seats are $15.00 and there is a very small online purchasing fee. We do sell out quickly and will release unsold seats to the public at a certain point TBA. We hope that your experience at Studio One is better than you expect!! Lobby Read then initial here The lobby is open during the first week of each month for observation of class. Our lobby is also an office where we are conducting business and answering phone calls. Keep the noise, talking, to a minimum. Check info boards hanging in the lobby for pertinent info and upcoming events. If you do need to wait in the lobby, especially with other siblings, please keep the noise level down and think about bringing something quiet to busy your little one in the lobby or kitchen area.! Drop off/pick up Read then initial here Please drop and pick up your dancer NO more than 10 minutes prior or post class. Children under the age of 12 will be required to stay inside the building until a parent arrives.! Food and Drink Read then initial here Dancers may bring a closed top water bottle into the classroom. The kitchen is the only area where food is allowed. If you bring in a beverage or food of any sort other than water, we ask that you use the kitchen.! Snow Days/Holidays Read then initial here Check the S-1 Facebook page for weather related situations. There are no pro-rates or tuition reimbursements due to snow days or holidays. Our Holiday closures are as follows: Thanksgiving: November Winter break: December 19- January 1, Spring Break March ! Tuition and Registration Read then initial here Registration fee is $20.00 for the first student, $15 for the second annually. No family will pay more than $35.00 registration fee and adults pay no registration fee. Tuition is due the first class each month. We DO NOT SEND INVOICES unless you are late. A late fee of $25.00 will be charged if tuition has not been paid by the 10 th. We encourage you to take advantage of our recurring payment method. Fill out the recurring credit form once AND DONE! If however you drop or change classes, it is your responsibility to give a written cancellation TWO weeks prior to the monthly tuition in order to close OR change the recurring tuition commitment. There are no pro-rates for sickness, holidays, vacations, etc. Check with the desk to see about makeup classes. Tuition is the same regardless of a 3 week month or a 5 week month and there are no refunds on costumes, tuition, registration etc.! Code of Conduct Read then initial here As well as teaching dance, we aim to teach the skills of teamwork in each class. We would like our dancers to give positive encouragement to each other. We will not tolerate teasing, gossiping, or goofing off during class. If anyone should choose to break these rules the following disciplinary action will be taken: 1. Verbal warning 2. Time-out from class 3. Call to parents What should my dancer wear to class? Jazz classes may wear choice of color and style of leotard and footless tights. Jazz shoe, ballet slipper, or bare feet/socks are fine. Hip Hop, Break, and HH/B/T dancers can wear loose comfortable clothing with clean tennis shoes. Tap classes can wear comfortable clothing of their choice. Please check for loose screws as they can damage the floor. Ballet- Pink or Black leotard and pink tights, pink ballet slipper -Please tie bows then tuck and tape them INSIDE the shoes. (no shoe bows as they constantly come undone) Hair must be secured in a bun away from the face. Please do not wear jewelry to class. Boys and Men Ballet- black ballet slippers, white shirt and black dance pants Combo Classes may wear choice of color and style of leotard and tights. Please replace tap shoe ties with elastics so the children may slip on their own shoes in a timely fashion. Tie ballet slipper cords in a knot, cut ends, and tuck inside slipper, be sure your child has used the restroom prior to class as it is very disruptive to take potty breaks during class. By signing below, I hereby for myself, my heirs, my executors, and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damage I may have against Studio One Dance Academy and their staff, respective agents, representatives, successors, and assigns for any and all injuries which may be suffered by my child or myself in connection with participation at Studio One and related events.
