3 CLASS PICTURES All classes will be having their class recital pictures taken this spring. The pictures are scheduled for : March 11 th for Elk River dancers. March 11 th & 12 th for Maple Grove Dancers. We will NOT have regular scheduled classes on Saturday, March 11 th due to class dance pictures! Pictures are Pre-pay. During the Parent-Teacher costume meeting you will receive picture order forms. We will be taking a group picture of each class in each costume. YES, we will be taking 2 separate pictures for the dances that share a costume and only have slight changes ie: shoe change. Each dancer will also have the opportunity to purchase full length individual photos. We will have posters on display to show all the different picture packages available. These are the pictures that will be used for our Year Book/Recital Program at the end of the dance season! Plan on arriving early to get ready! Please be on time! We will not be able to wait! You will receive your picture order form with your costumes. Please have order forms filled out ahead of time! If you will be absent for pictures, please let us know ahead of time. 10 year dancers: If this is your 10th year dancing at Dancin On Broadway, please see Debbie, Laurie or Mike during pictures to have your picture taken for the year book/program! You can choose which ever costume you would like to have your 10 year picture taken in! Please turn in your 1st year dance picture in to Debbie, Laurie or Mike by March 11th & 12th (Picture day!). NOTE: If you are having pictures taken with another dancer from Dancin On Broadway that is not in your class, you may have your picture taken during either class. (siblings, cousins, friends, families) Sorry, we cannot take pictures of people who do NOT dance at Dancin On Broadway. Pictures will be handed out in class in approximately 4-6 weeks. Because of parking, and space please do not stay all day between groups. If you have more than an hour, please try to leave between your groups. Maple Grove Parking- Just another reminder that the Mall Businesses do not want dance parking on the North side of the mall. There are only certain days when parking can be a challenge. Picture day will be one of them. Some suggestions to make your day a little easier: Drop off your dancer at the studio and park at Walmart on the front side of the building. Or, have someone drop off you and your dancer, then pick you up after you are finished with pictures. Because of parking, and space please do not stay all day between groups. If you have more than an hour, please try to leave between your groups. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding in this matter! Picture schedule on the next page>>>>>>

6 they will not be able to see the show, you may want to bring them to a different show. If you would like to bring your dancer to a different show so that they can watch, please place those orders at the same time! We will try our best to get everyone as many tickets as they would like. However, if there are not enough seats to fill all the requests, people with the higher numbers of tickets may not receive all the tickets they have requested and a refund will be issued. Most shows will sell out! Keep this in mind when you are placing your order. There may not be tickets available as the date gets closer. Tickets are nonrefundable. Recital Tickets Orders- Recitals are very exciting for the dancers. This is when they have the opportunity to perform all the things they have been working on this year. Don t forget to invite family, friends, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, teachers, and neighbors! Please fill out a Ticket Request/Order Form at the front desk no later than Thursday, March 18th, Tickets are $16.00 each. Tickets are pre-pay at the studio and will be assigned seating. Tickets are assigned by where your dancer stands on stage the majority of the time. Tickets must be paid in full when you place your order. If you have any special requests you think we need to know about, please let us know when you are placing your order, example: needs wheelchair seating. Everyone who attends the performance must have a ticket!!! This includes small-lap children and infants. Although a dance recital is not the venue to bring small children or infants, anyone who chooses to do so must purchase them a ticket. Dancers will be back stage their entire show and will not need a ticket. They have no idea what they are part of. Because NOTE: On the Recital Ticket Order form it will ask if you would like your tickets together or separate. If you order your tickets together, there is no guarantee you will get your tickets in the front middle sections of the auditorium. NOTE: We cannot guarantee that all seats will be together, especially those with big groups. Anyone receiving folding chair (fc) tickets should know that those seats are not reserved by number. They are first come-first serve. Recital tickets will be available to pick up at the front desk: The week of April 17th during your dancer s class time ONLY. Sorry, tickets are NON-refundable. All tickets must be picked up by April 29th, 2017 or they may be resold. SNOW DAYS- Winter is here, and with it comes plenty of ICE & SNOW!!! Dancin On Broadway will call off classes if the weather is too severe. We will post it on our Home page of our web site: if we will be canceling classes due to the weather. Or, you can call us on severe weather days to see if there is class. It is your responsibility to find out; we will not be calling you. Classes that have bad weather days will not be made up. If you have any questions, please ask! Thanks for choosing DOB for your child s dance education! Tammy and Debbie
