You have been provided a Valet Trash container. Trash is picked-up Sunday through Thursday. All trash must be bagged and tied. Please place your container outside on these days beginning at

3 6pm and trash pick-up starts promptly at 8pm. Your container must be brought back inside by 9am the next morning. If you need to dispose of bulk items please use the trash compactor that is located on the right side of the community. What do I do with my move in boxes? Please break down and flatten all boxes. Valet Trash service will pick them up or you can dispose of them in the trash compactor. How does the entrance gate work? Your access card will operate both sets of entrance gates to the community when they are available. Swipe your access card in front of either swipe pad at the gate system box labeled 1 or 2. Swipe pad labeled 1 opens gate 1 to the left of the community and Swipe pad labeled 2 opens gate 2 to the right of the community. The visitors will use the front entrance gates and will not have access to enter through the back gates. Please instruct visitors to drive to the call box located at the front entrance gates and use the following instructions to contact you for entry. 1.) Press the Search button to find your name listed as (Last name, First initial ) or enter in the 4-digit directory number. Your director number can be given to you by a member of the Leasing Office. 2.) The directory will then call your home telephone or cell phone number. When you answer, always verify who you are speaking with before allowing access! 3.) To allow access to the community, press 9 for gate 1 and 5 for gate 2 on your touch pad. You will then hear a confirmation tone that tells you the gate has responded. To deny access, simply hang-up. 4.) Visitors enter through the entrance sliding gate. Advise people NOT TO TAILGATE! The gate system is designed to allow one entry for ONE VEHICLE AT A TIME. Where are the mail boxes located? Mailboxes for buildings A through J are located on the right side of the community next to the trash compactor. Mailboxes for buildings K and L are located between the two buildings. Do you have resident activities or events? There are several resident events and activities scheduled throughout the year. We will notify you in advance regarding the activities. Can I have a party at the pool? Our relaxing pool areas are available for all residents and their guest to enjoy during pool hours. To ensure enjoyment for all residents at the pool, we regretfully do not permit private pool parties. Where is the best place for me to park?

4 You may park in any available space in the resident parking areas. As a reminder, handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty. Conveniences How do I pay rent online? We have made paying your rent easy by setting you up with your personal on line account to the Gables Gateway. You will go to and click on the Resident Login key in the upper right hand corner. Select the link to set up your Gables Gateway account. This is a great way to stay connected to your management team from anywhere in the world. Additional services available on Gables Gateway include placing a service request for repairs needed in your apartment home. Where can I access WI-FI in the building? The leasing office, fitness center, and pool are WI-FI accessible for your use and convenience. This amenity is complimentary and part of your community benefits. Where is the rent drop box? There is no longer a rent drop box but our leasing office is open 7-days a week for your convenience. Guests Where can my guests park? Your guest may park in any available space in the resident parking areas. As a reminder to tell your guests that handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty. Where do my movers park? In the interest of safety for proper clearance for other residents and emergency vehicles, your movers may park in any available space in the residential parking areas. How many guests can I have with me at the amenities? We love it when you share your community with your friends and family. Two guests are welcome to join you in all of the amenity areas.

5 Maintenance GABLES 411: Central Park How do I submit service requests? We want placing a service request for work needed in your apartment home easy. You may contact the leasing office via phone at (407) , via at centralparkapartments@gables.com, in person, or through Gables Gateway to place your service request. If you have not already signed up for Gables Gateway, you can go to and click on the Resident Login key in the upper right hand corner. Select the link to set up your Gables Gateway account. This is a great way to stay connected to your management team from anywhere in the world. Additional services available on Gables Gateway include paying your rent on line. What do I do if I have a Maintenance emergency after hours? For those times that you may have an emergency after office hours, you may contact the leasing office at , option #2 for maintenance assistance. Please follow the prompts for an emergency maintenance and leave a message for our on call service technician. You should receive a call from the technician within the hour. What is considered a maintenance emergency? Emergency maintenance problems that will be dispatched to the on call service technician include: 1. No electricity throughout the apartment. 2. No water. 3. No air conditioning on a day of extreme heat (80+ degrees). 4. Water entering the apartment. 5. Possibility of fire. 6. Impeded plumbing in an apartment with only one bathroom. 7. No heat. 8. Non-functioning or malfunctioning smoke detector. 9. Gas leak (also call the gas company). 10. Running water that cannot be shut off. 11. Malfunctioning door or window locks.

6 Pets Do you have a dog park? Central Park has a friendly Bark Park for your furry family members to mingle. Our Bark Park is located at the rear of the community. Where is the best place to walk my pet? The green areas around the property are appropriate to walk your pets. Please help us to maintain a clean and pleasant community by always picking up after your pets. There are many doggie stations surrounding the community. Do I have to have my dog on a leash? For the safety of your dog and all residents in the community, all pets are required to be on a leash when in any common area. It s the law and the best practice for your pet s safety.
