Exhibitors of APSB ponies must be financial members of the APSB at time of entry (copy of current membership card to be included with entries.) Open classes are open to any pony 14.2hh and under, need not be registered RDA riders must be a registered member of their State Association The Committee may combine or split any classes if entry numbers warrant.

2 SADDLEWORLD GEELONG APSB ACTION PONY DAY: 6th AUGUST, 2016 Height Exemption: APSB registered/recorded ponies over 14.2hh may compete in the sections for 14.2hh and under All non APSB members must also complete a Liability Waiver Form Two riders for one pony MUST have two different exhibit nos, and MUST be entered individually so that pony is listed twice. A pony s Best score in each section will count towards its Best Performed Award DRESSAGE Entry Fees: Members $16.50 Non-members $22.00 ALL Dressage Tests may be called. All Tests will be in 60 x 20 arena except RDA and Topsy Dressage in 40 x 20 arena. Height Exemption: APSB registered/recorded ponies over 14.2hh may compete in the sections for 14.2hh and under Please Note: Ponies may be ridden in a maximum of 3 tests 2 tests at one level and 1 test at the next higher level. APSB Registered Ponies may compete as an Open Pony and as an APSB Pony and need only ride the test once - but must be entered for both classes. Ponies must be entered in the name of the registered owner. Riders are requested to NOT ride lower than their grading. A draw will be carried out. Dressage times will be ed to entrants unless you require them to be sent (Please send a SAE into the Office if you want times sent). Rider must be named on form. Rider must be a member or insurance waiver completed. Junior riders must be able to present proof of DOB. Only APSB classes count towards Best Performed APSB Breeds. Only Open classes count towards Best Performed Open Pony. Two riders for one pony MUST have two exhibit nos, so MUST be entered individually so that the pony is listed twice. APSB Topsy not eligible for overall Aggregate Awards. Separate Best Performed Topsy Pony Award is available in each Topsy section for Topsy competitors. The "SV CHANDLER MEMORIAL TROPHY" This trophy is awarded to the most successful purebred gelding from the APSB Stud Show held in Nov 2015 & the APSB Action Pony Day Aug Ponies must compete at both competitions to be eligible. The Award will be decided by aggregate points from (1) Action Day APSB classes including the pony s best APSB Dressage, Show Jumping, Handy Mount and Working Hunter scores. (Topsy & Open Classes scores do not count towards this Award). (2) Stud Show all Led Gelding Classes, including New Forest, Highland, Shetland, Welsh, Fjord & Dartmoor, Open Saddle Gelding classes and Open Harness Gelding classes. The late Vic Chandler was a member of the Victorian Branch committee for eleven years during the 1950s and early 60s. He became a good friend of fellow committeeman, the late Bill Buckleigh and wanted to buy a colt foal from Bill s good Australian pony mare Whyite. The colt was named Green Valley Revel Light and was shown successfully by Vic for a number of years. One of his most successful progeny was the well performed Australian pony gelding, Allambi Carlyle, who competed on an international level in harness in the U K. This Award to be decided by aggregate points from a combination of the Stud Show and the following Action Pony Day (August). Ponies must compete at both competitions to be eligible. The award will be presented at the Annual General Meeting each year. Points: 1st - 4 points 2nd - 3 points 3rd - 2 points 4th - 1 point
