(BCI) agrees to provide, and the undersigned Advertiser agrees to use Enhanced Listing space as herein indicated at the web site. The annual listing will last the duration of 12 months from the day posted on the website. The monthly listing will last the duration of 30 days from the day posted on the website and will continue to renew and charge to your account until cancelled in writing. The prices below are for one specific market area, i.e., Puget Sound, Portland, Hawaii, etc. Listings for additional market areas are extra. Cancellations must be in writing and will go into effect at the end of the term. Enhanced listing (one market area) category:( )...$400.00/yr (if paid in full) or $40/mo. Listing includes: Photos and a 3 line listing (20 characters) info. about your company and link to your website. E-Leads: Our weekly bridal list delivered to your . access available. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: BRIDAL, : This contract is made between Brides Club, Inc., hereinafter referred to as BCI, and the advertiser above. 1. BCI agrees to publish Advertiser s ad in the above edition and Advertiser agrees to pay BCI the amount indicated prior to publication unless prior approval and guaranteed with a credit card. If advertiser fails to pay any balances when due, he authorizes BCI to charge Advertiser s credit card on file for any payments more than 30 days past due. 2. Prior to publication, BCI will provide advertiser with ad proof (if produced by BCI). Advertiser has five (5) days to return the proof with any changes. After that, advertiser is solely responsible for any errors and relieves BCI of any liability. No ad produced by BCI can be reproduced or reprinted in any form without expressed written permission of BCI. 3. If advertiser fails to submit ad materials by publication deadline, or cancels contract for any reason after advertising Closing Date for advertising, advertiser loses any deposits or payments. Cancellation of this contract must be in writing. Damages for loss are limited to refund only of monies paid. 4. BCI may limit the number of page 1 of 2

5 advertisers within a category or reject advertising it deems inappropriate. BCI reserves the right to reject advertising copy if it deems the content contains information on more than one business or if the material is copyrighted. 5. Advertiser agrees ads will be placed in Magazine by category, i.e., caterers in CATERERS section. Exceptions must be agreed to by BCI. 6. Advertiser is entitled to receive weekly brides names, known as eleads, of those who have registered on bridesclub.com for the 12 months of this contract. Advertiser agrees not share the eleads or make them known to any other individual or business, nor contact the elead names with information regarding any other individual or business. Violation of these conditions carries a $3, fine for each occurrence. BRIDESCLUB.COM: ENHANCED LISTING includes: 1 described listing as indicated above. Listing will be placed in vendors category of choice. There will be limits to the categories allowing first come first serve conditions to exist. NATURE OF The web site is being promoted for the use and sale of products and services of the bridal and related industries. BCI reserves the right to reject or prohibit any advertiser, proposed listing, or portion thereof, including without limitation, restriction of persons, articles, conduct, images, videos, and advertising text which, in its opinion, are not suitable or in keeping with the character and nature of the website. Advertiser and his authorized representatives arising out of and in connection with the Advertisers use of or benefits of the listing space. Advertiser shall be liable for all damages which are caused in connection with his listing. BCI assumes no risk and the Advertiser releases BCI of and from any and all liability for any damage, injury or loss to any person representing the advertiser. LEADS & CONFIDENTIALITY: Due to the nature of this proprietary information that our companies exchange in this agreement Advertiser agrees that bridal leads that arise from this form of advertising is confidential and only for the use of the Advertisers product or service being represented in this listing. Advertiser agrees to keep bridal leads confidential and not sell or otherwise make leads available to anyone else. Since it is difficult to determine the actual damage from such a breach of this agreement, Advertiser agrees to pay BCI an award of liquidated damages in the amount of $3, for each violation either directly or indirectly caused by the action of the Advertiser. Bleed ad dimensions above include this allowance. Live Area: Keep all live matter at least 1/4 from final trim size, on all sides. This is the area in which text and graphics need to be contained. Doing so will keep your text and graphic images from getting too close to the edge of your ad and possibly going over the side. Ad dimensions above include this allowance. Gutter Safety: Keep all critical matter 1/2 from the gutter. (for 2-page spreads only) Printing Process: Four-color process (CMYK). Direct to plate. Web Offset. Perfect bound. Screens: 150-line preferred. 1/2 PAGE - HORZ (7.25x4.75) 1/2 PAGE - VERT (3.5x9.75) General Guidelines: Build document to ad size. Be sure to extend bleed on all sides, and allow for live area as trimming may occur otherwise. Crop marks with all bleed ads. No marks included in image area. Images and graphics should be no less than 300 dpi. Convert all colors to CMYK. All colors must be converted to CMYK prior to creating pdf files. No RGB images. No spot or pantone colors. No pict, gif, Microsoft Publisher or Microsoft Word accepted. If files require intervention, the advertiser will be billed $50. 7 Buckles Productions Digital Files: Advertiser must specify format, software, and version used, and include all fonts and graphics. Ads should be submitted, in one of the following formats: PDF: Insure all links are valid and images are CMYK tiffs or eps. Use press-quality job options with compatibility of Acrobat 5 (PDF 1.4). All fonts should be converted to outlines. TIFF: 300 dpi minimum, CMYK color mode. Turn color management off and uncheck ICC profiles. Do not use jpeg compression. Mac formatted. EPS: Convert all fonts to outlines. Use only CMYK images. NATIVE FILE: (from one of the following software programs ONLY: Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop 7/CS, Adobe InDesign 2/CS, Adobe Illustrator 10/CS) JPEG: 300 dpi minimum, CMYK color mode. Use maximum image quality (12). Fonts: Convert all fonts to paths/outline; or Include a copy of ALL fonts used in your files. If eps images are linked, be sure to include all linked fonts as well. Be sure to include both printer fonts and screen fonts for your files. PC fonts will not be accepted. (If creating your ad on a PC, please convert all fonts to paths/outline) If we don t have the EXACT font that was used (there are many variations of common fonts and there s a good chance those variations will not work), we won t be able to print your design and have it look the way you intended it to look. Color Proof: All digital files MUST be accompanied by a color proof. Acceptable artwork submissions: Original Photos to be scanned (we will return these at your request) Logos/business cards to be scanned Any kind of sketch or layout that shows the concept or look that you want to achieve Electronic files (see file formats above) Content/ad copy: what you want your ad to say - word for word. Disclaimer: Hawaii Bridal Expo the Magazine is not responsible for ads sent without proofs or ads not meeting the specification guidelines and requirements. Perfect alignment of type or design across gutter of two facing pages cannot be guaranteed. Advertisers are responsible for the content of their ads or materials. Advertising materials delivered beyond deadline may be subject to additional charges. Our server will not accept larger files. Please do not lower the resolution or reduce the ad dimensions in order to reduce file size. If you find your file is over 9.5MB, please mail, FedEx or UPS it to us. Once we receive your artwork, we will create your ad as soon as possible and then you a proof so you can see it. You can then give your approval or request a revision. If a revision is needed, you will be sent a second proof after the corrections have been made.
