Complete course re-work included selection of additional readings, production of video resources, and complete re-write of course content to promote online student success and meet Texas Education Association standards for early-child through grade six education majors Art 508-Online Designed, and taught two versions of Art 508: Contemporary issues In Art Education: a graduate level course. Version one explores issues of educator identity and Visual Culture in Art Education, and the second investigates connections between technology, art and education. Both courses are taught fully online. Art 597-Online Designed, and taught Art 597: Proposal Development, an online course for graduate students to develop understandings needed to initiate and complete the M.A. thesis or M.A. exhibition thesis proposal. Includes research methods, theoretical frameworks, writing research questions, and developing a literature review. 2

3 Art 395, 490, 499 Re-designed Art 395, 490, and 499 courses for pre-service art educators seeking K-12 art teacher certification. Wrote course outlines and syllabi to bring courses in line with Texas Education Association standards and contemporary theories and approaches toward art education. Included complete re-write and redesign of course projects and textbook/article selection for Art 395 and 490 and implementation of the courses in Autumn 2013 and Spring 2014 respectively. Art 390 Re-designed, and taught Art 390, a course for pre-service K-6 generalist teachers, including complete syllabus re-write, redesign of course projects, online content, and textbook/article selection to bring course in line with contemporary approaches toward art education and Texas Education Association standards Graduate Curriculum Restructured graduate course sequence for Master of Arts in Art Education program to comply with National Association of Schools of Art and Design guidelines. Re-structured and re-wrote syllabi for Art 508: Contemporary Issues in Art Education and Art 589: Thesis Research to reflect contemporary practices in masters-level art education practice.
