Rosenberg, MD There have been several recent advances in the treatment of patients with various pulmonary conditions. Given the specialized nature of these diseases, it is difficult for the community physician in clinical practice to maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions. In addition, new biological agents and novel therapies are currently in the pipeline for treating patients with advanced and rare lung diseases including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease and pulmonary arterial hypertension and more common lung diseases such as COPD, sleep apnea and lung cancer. This educational program is focused toward healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with pulmonary disease. There will be didactic lectures as well as two hands-on breakout sessions. We hope you will join the Northwestern faculty on Friday, November 14 for an informal and interactive discussion.
