Determine the desired finished length for the necklace and cut a piece of 8 Needle Flat knit to that length less the length of the clasp. 2. Load a beading needle with three yards of Fireline and, holding the knit on edge, sew through the fifth loop from the end from back to front. Tie two half hitch knots leaving an 8 tail. 3. Pick up two 4mm cubes and pass through the same loop from back to front. Pass up through the last bead and down into the first bead. Pass through the wire knit from back to front and up through the first bead. The beads should be resting on the top edge of the knit. 4. Pick up a size 8 seed bead and pass down through the second bead, through the knit from back to front then back up through the same bead. You have anchored the cube beads and formed the first picot. 5. Pick up a seed bead and a cube bead. Pass through the next available loop on the knit from back to front and up through the cube bead just added. Continue in this manner until you are about three loops from the end of the knit, the knit will start to gently curve to form the necklace. 6. When you are within three or four loops from the end, weave back through two or three of the beads just added, following your thread path, and tie a half hitch knot to the knit. Repeat this step and trim your Fireline. 7. Repeat step 6 with the tail at the beginning of the necklace. 8. Attach a 5mm crimp end to each end of the necklace. With the 3mm jump rings, attach the clasp. Note: When choosing the next loop to brick stitch in, be sure there is enough room between the loop and the last cube for the next cube to sit. From one package of Capture Knit cut a piece 16 long, another piece 17 long and one 2-1/4 long. From the second package cut a piece 18 long and one 2 1/4 long. Set the two 2-1/4 pieces aside. 2. Insert one end of each of the three longer pieces of Capture Knit into a triple end cap with the 16 and 18 lengths on the outside, the 17 length in the middle. Making sure that the ends are securely in the end cap, gently squeeze it closed using nylon coated pliers. 3. Slide a duplex bead onto each of the strands of Capture Knit. 4. Lay the strands on your work surface and arrange the strands so that they are straight and don t overlap each other. Even up the loose ends of the strands and insert them into the other triple end cap in the same order as the other ends. Gently squeeze it closed using nylon coated pliers. 5. Using the oval jump rings attach one side of the clasp to each end cap. Earrings 1. String a Duplex bead on one of the 2-1/4 strands of Capture Knit. 2. Fold the Capture Knit into a teardrop shape and insert the ends into one of the SilverSilK double end caps. Gently squeeze it closed using nylon coated pliers. 3. Open the loop on a French ear wire and slide on the finished earring pendant. Close the loop. 4. Cut three 8 pieces of SilverSilk 8 needle flat. 2. Hold one end of all three pieces together slightly overlapping and fasten them with a small bull clip. 3. Anchor the bull clip to your foam board with a T-pin and braid the wire. Fasten the end to the board with another T-pin. 4. Apply super glue to one end of the magnetic clasp and insert one end of the braided wire. Let the glue cure for about 15 minutes. 5. Remove the bull clip from the other end and slide on a duplex slider. 6. Repeat step 4. Cut three pieces of SilverSilk Leather. To determine the length needed, subtract an inch from the desired finished length for the ball and socket clasp. 2. Dab a drop of glue on one end of each piece of leather and insert them, one by one, into one of the triple end caps. Close the end cap with nylon jaw or coated pliers. 3. Thread a slider bead over all three strands of leather. 4. Dab a drop of glue on the end of each strand of leather and insert them, one by one, into the other triple end cap. Close the end cap with nylon jaw or coated pliers. 5. Attach the clasp to the end caps using the jump rings. With your wire cutters cut the capture into two pieces, one 28 and one Slide one end of one of the lengths of capture into one of the end caps and gently close the end cap with your chain nose pliers, being careful not to mar the end cap. Repeat the process on the other end of your capture and on each end of the other length. 3. Using two of the 6mm jumprings attach the clasp to the end caps on the longer length of capture. 4. On each headpin string a crystal, a heart and a crystal. Make a wire wrapped loop with the headpin to form a pendant. 5. Using the other two 6mm jumprings attach a small heart pendant to each end of the smaller length of capture. 6. To form the love knot lay the longer piece of capture on you work surface folded in half. Lay the shorter piece across it at the folded end (fig 1.) and bring each end under the side and over the folded end of the longer piece (fig.2 & 3). Leaving the beading wire on the spool, string on a 4mm crystal, then string a 6mm glass pearl followed by a 6mm crystal. Continue stringing, alternating a 6mm glass pearl and 6mm crystal until you have reached 24 or your desired length. End with a 4mm crystal. 2. Cut the beaded strand from the spool leaving a 4 tail on either end. Form a small loop and secure it with a crimp tube. Repeat with the other side. This will keep the beads on the wire while you ease it into the hollow tube. 3. Holding the Galaxy Hollow Tube in one hand let the strand of beads hang down. Ease the strand of beads into the hollow tube of Galaxy. Position the strand of beads so that it is evenly distributed in the hollow tube. With your fingers, twist each end of the hollow tube right up to the 4mm crystal. Leave the beads on the beading wire. 4. Measure the depth of the clasp to determine the length you will need to insert into the clasp. Clip off the excess and glue it into the magnetic clasp. Insert the 3/16 wooden dowel into the Galaxy knitted wire. Hold the Galaxy on the wooden dowel with one hand and with the other gently pull your hand down the dowel in a striping manner to reduce the inside diameter of the knitted tube. Remove the dowel and insert the 1/8 th inch dowel and repeat the procedure. Remove the dowel. 2. Gently roll one end of the SilverSilk Hollow tube to round the edge to make it easier to slide the Hollow into the Galaxy. Slide the hollow tube into the Galaxy tube all the way to the end of the Galaxy tube. You will have extra hollow at one end. 3. Roll and pinch one end of the double tube with your fingers to reduce the size of the tube that will be captured in the end cap. Insert the tube into the end cap checking to make sure there are not little wires sticking out. Crimp the end cap closed with the flat nosed pliers. Do a gentle close, contain any protruding wires, then do a final crimp. Trim the other end of the necklace to the desired length and attach the end cap. 4. Slide the Barrel Sliders onto the Galaxy necklace and position in place. Attach the clasp using the jumprings. Use two jumprings on the toggle bar.
