4 INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPETITION Swimming Pool: Marmaris Indoor Swimming pool, Short-course (25 meters), 6-Lane, water temperature degrees, Electronic timing The competition will be held under FINA law & technical rules All heats will be from slowest to fastest in each age group as in World and European Masters Swimming Championship. All clubs can participate at each event with as many competitors as they wish throughout the competition. This competition will be an official swimming championship sponsored by the Turkish Swimming Federation (TSF). Thus, all results and broken records will be officially registered by the person assigned by TSF. Awards: Swimmers ranked in first 3 in each age group and relays will be awarded a medal. All participants will receive a certificate. The Trophy Cups will be awarded to the Best Women (first 3) and the Best Men (first 3) of Short Course AQUAMASTERS Swimming Championship according to total FIN points in the 4 individual events. All clubs/swimmers who are Pre-Master (Age 20-24/ C0 Group) can participate in the competition as unclassified. The participant can swim 2 races per day and 4 races total throughout the competition. The number of Pre-Master swimmers will be limited to 4 per club. Officials: The officials will be National Referees assigned by the Turkish Swimming Federation. For those who will be staying at the Martı Resort De Luxe Hotel, there will be free shuttle services running between the venue and hotel before the morning and afternoon sessions. COMPETITION RULES Final date for submission of entries: May 02, Monday 17:00 All participants must submit an entry time for each event which they will participate. Entries without times (NT) will not be accepted. Only swimmers with official licenses valid for the season can participate in the competition. A participant can enter a total of 8 individual events (max. 3 events per day) and 4 relays (2 relays per day [1 mixed, 1 individual]). All clubs can participate in a relay event with more than 1 team in each age group and category. Relay event participants age and line will be official, and total age of the team members cannot be changed. (Mixed relays will be 2 women + 2 men) Relay event teams (Name of the team members) should be submitted to the referees by an official of the club before each morning session of respective relay event. Only in case of an injury of a team member, a relay team can be changed and the officials should be informed about the situation half an hour before the relay event. The entrance fee is 15 TL per individual event, 30 TL per relay event. Entry fees have to be paid in advance to the bank as follows. The proper amount should be transfered to the account of the Marmaris Gençlik Spor Turizm ve Ticaret A.Ş. IBAN: TR and please mention KISA KULVAR as subject. Meet entries and a receipt about the payment should be sent to kisakulvar@aquamasters.org. Entries without a receipt will not be accepted. Foreign participants will be able to pay in advance of the competition when they arrive for the championship. The receipts will be provided by the officials of the Marmaris Gençlik Spor Turizm ve Ticaret A.Ş. Objections about the events should be directly submitted to Competition officials. Objection fee is 350 TL. Organization committee reserves the right to change, cancel and correct any of the rules of the competition.

It is kindly submitted for your information.

6 MEET SCHEDULE There will be three (3) individual events 1 Men and Women 1500 m. (Audi Q3) 2 Men and Women 3000 m. (Audi Q5) 3 Men and Women 6000 m. (Audi Q7) One (1) participant can only enter one of the three individual events. MAY 22, SUNDAY MAY 22, SUNDAY START : 10:00 AWARD CEREMONY: 14:00 All swimmers must be present at the location of the event at 8:00 am. with an official valid 2016 license for number assignment. Prior to the numbering process, no participant will be allowed to put protective lotion on his/her skin. Numbering process will end at 9:15 am. 7 COMPETITION RULES 1. All clubs accredited by the Turkish Swimming Federation and individual swimmers can participate in the competition. 2. Only competitors with an official license valid for the season or with a valid Medical Report which was issued within the last 6 months can participate in the International AQUAMASTERS MARTI HOTELS Open Water Swimming Championship. License or the medical report will be collected by officials prior to the race. Only with an official license, swimmers can participate in the 6000 m. Otherwise, they will not be able to participate. For foreign participants, they will be accredited with a passport and a written agreement. 3. The competition will be held under the FINA Open Water rules & regulations. 4. Medals will be awarded to swimmers ranked in the first 3 in each group in each event. Trophy Cups will be given to the first woman and man in the overall ranking of each event (1500 m., 3000 m. and 6000 m.). AquaYouths and Pre-masters will not be considered in the overall ranking but they will be given a medal if they are ranked in the first 3 in their age group in each event. 5. All participants who competed in the event will be given a certificate. 7. Referees will be in boats and will warn the swimmers in case of any problems with the determined race course. In case of any violation of the rules, referees will disqualify the participant. 8. If in the opinion of the referee, any swimmer is not able to continue the event, the participant will be taken in to the boat and disqualified. 9. In the case of making any intentional contact with any swimmer, the participant will be disqualified. 10. The participant cannot wear any kind of watches or jewelery. In case of any violation of this rule, the swimmer will be disqualified. 11. Entry fees have to be paid in advance to the bank. The proper amount should be transferred to the account of the Marmaris Genclik Spor Turizm Ve Ticaret A.Ş., IBAN: TR and please mention MARATON as subject. Meet entries and a receipt for the payment should be sent to maraton@aquamasters.org. Entries without the receipt or event type will not be accepted. If the swimmer does not participate, there will not be a reimbursement. Foreign participants will be able to pay prior to the competition. 12. Organization committee reserves the right to change, cancel and correct any of the rules of the competition. 6. Cut-off time for 1500 m, 3000 m and 6000 m are 90 minutes, 120 minutes and 180 minutes, respectively. Participants who cannot finish in the specified time will be picked up by the boats.
