TVman is wireless tuner which offer lot of advantages over TV dongles: Universal: TVman will work with all your smart devices, what ever the connectors or brands. Yes, TVman is Full HD ready and can transfer HD to your devices (up to 15Mbs) but the limitation is on your smart devices CPU performance capability to decode HD. Currently HD can be receive by Smart Phone and tablet but not decoded. PC and MAC can decode HD video Can TVman record HD TV? Yes, TVman can record HD on the HDD or SD card so you can watch from your PC. Can I watch the TV on more than one devices? No, TVman will transfer the TV to one device at a time due to some WiFi bandwidth limitation. Can TVman support H264 or MPEG4 broadcast? Yes, TVman can transfer and play H264. The limitation will be on the video quality and your device CPU performance to decode it. Can I play the recording file with another player? Yes, the format of the recording file is the same as the broadcast and standard. The file can be played by other software like VLC. 39

40 Common FAQ: TV reception What factor can impact the TV signal strength? The TV signal strength depends of your location. If you are far from the broadcast antenna, the signal will be weak. Others obstacle can also impact the TV signal quality like a building between you and the broadcast antenna, the speed in the car, the UV filter in the apartment or car window, the walls etc.. How can I improve the TV reception? 1) Find from where the local TV is broadcasted (check roof antenna direction in your neighborhood or perform some test). 2) Find the best location with the less obstacle between TVman and the broadcast. Like a room in your apartment on the good side. 3) Place the antenna close to the window where the signal is usually stronger and select the direction which offer the best reception. 4) Roof antenna or balcony antenna offer the best reception performances Tips: it is better to perform your first scan with roof antenna or outdoor to get the right frequencies tablet before your trials. 40

41 Common FAQ: WiFi coverage What is the coverage of TVman WiFi? TVman has been designed to deliver Live TV in an area of 20m indoor or 40m outdoor. How can I improve the WiFi coverage? - Move TVman away from metal object or other electronic equipment - Place TVman in the middle of your target area - Change the WiFi channel used by TVman if the channel is busy. Some free application like WiFi analyzer can be used to check how the WiFi channels are used in your location. - Connect TVman to a WiFi router.
