Advanced reservations for all activities are highly recommended prior to guest arrival. As guests of the Snow King Resort/Love Ridge Resort Lodges during the summer, you can enjoy the Alpine Slide, miniature golf, a scenic chair lift, & hiking or mountain biking on one of Snow King s many trails. 3 Snake River Trips White Water Trip Experience the thrill of two/three class rapids on an 8 mile whitewater. Plan to get WET! You will have your chances to take in the wonderful canyon scenery, but another big rapid always awaits you around the next bend! Big Kahuna, Lunch Counter and the Rope Rapids will rock your boat as wild waves crest the bow. This is a fabulous outdoor experience that will make your visit to Jackson Hole complete! Scenic Float Trip This popular and unique float trip adventure begins at the Deadman s Bar in the Grand Teton National Park where you will then ride down the calm waters of the Snake River. Bring your camera and capture the most breathtaking and impressive scenery of the famous Teton Range in the Jackson Hole valley. As an alternate you can enjoy a sunrise or sunset wildlife viewing or evening dinner scenic float. This stretch of river is ideal for wildlife viewing, natural landscape and history of the area by an exceptional guide! 3

4 Fly Fishing The Snake River is home to one of the only places where you can catch native cutthroat trout. You can experience the pristine waters during the trips to either the Snake River, Bridger Teton National Forest, or in Yellowstone National Park. It is great for all ages, beginners, experienced anglers, or families. You don t have to be an angler to enjoy a drift boat down the Snake River. Even if your partner or friend doesn t fish, they can enjoy the scenery and wildlife while floating down the river. Your guide will teach you the casting, stream tactics, entomology, and even the knots you will use to put on the fly. 4

5 Grand Teton National Park Grand Teton National Park was established in The Grand Teton is 13,770 ft, nearly 7,500 ft above the valley. A photographer s paradise, the Grand Teton National Park is breathtaking in all seasons. Jackson Hole is one of the few remaining areas in the U.S. where native wildlife, such as, moose, bison, elk, mule deer, coyotes, mountain lions, pronghorns, bear, eagles, and osprey roam abundantly and freely. Picturesque areas include Jackson Lake, Jenny Lake Overlook, String Lake, and Signal Mountain, and many more! You can choose from half day tours or fully experience the national park with a full day of extraordinary scenery. 5

6 Yellowstone National Park Yellowstone is the U.S. s first national park created in One day tour of Yellowstone is an all day event. Yellowstone is simply something you can t miss! You will begin your adventure right from the lobby, where you will be taken into Yellowstone, via the South Entrance. You will be able to learn along side a professional guide and be fascinated with viewing various waterfalls, lakes, and the famous Old Faithful geyser. After lunch, Mother Nature will amaze you with her fumaroles, mud pots, and colorful hot springs that are heated by the Yellowstone Hot Spot. You will also see the Grand Canyon (which is home to one of the tallest waterfalls in the United States). During the tour you will go through Hayden Valley, where bison spend their summer grazing, and finally around Yellowstone Lake, the largest lake above 7,000 ft in the United States, and down to West Thumb before your return to Snow King. 6

7 Wildlife Tours Naturalists will take you into Grand Teton National Park or the National Forest area where animals are the most active. From your comfortable Safari-style Suburban or van, you ll view abundant wildlife in their natural habitat. Naturalist/Biologist guides know the best wildlife viewing spots, as well as, understand animal behavior. They will teach you about the ecosystem surrounding Jackson Hole. This tour is an exciting chance to get familiar with the animals of the great West. There will be fewer than 10 people per van and it will feel as though the tour is specialized for you. 7

8 Bike Tours in Jackson Hole Get out and really experience the outdoors! Taking a bike tour is a wonderful voyage and really gets your blood pumping. There are a variety of locations you can choose from: ANTELOPE FLATS: This tour travels along the sagebrush flats on the eastern slopes of Grand Teton National Park. The sagebrush flats are home to roaming antelope and buffalo. It is our easiest bike tour. BUFFALO VALLEY: This tour begins in the mountain pine forest of the Angle Mountain area with a gradual descent through beautiful alpine meadows to the Buffalo River Valley. The tour begins on a less traveled service road and continues onto a scenic country road-an outstanding family experience! OLD FAITHFUL: This tour travels along the Firehole River to the remote Lone Star Geyser. The tour then proceeds to the Upper Geyser Basin-home of the world famous Old Faithful geyser and other geo-thermal wonders such as the Castle, Grotto, Riverside, and Daisy geysers and the Morning Glory Pool. The Midway and Lower Geyser Basins are the next destination with many smaller geysers, springs, and pools. These areas have great opportunities to see various wildlife. This tour travels along a combination of abandoned service roads and bike paths. MONUMENT RIDGE: This tour travels on remote forest service roads and single tracks. 8

9 Horseback Riding and Jackson Hole Rodeo Wyoming has some of the most beautiful terrains that are offered for every level of rider. You can choose from a two-hour ride, a half day, a full day, or a combo ride with scenic/whitewater or fly fishing trips. If all you want is a walking pace to enjoy the scenery or more of a progressive ride, the outfitters have the perfect trails. You will meet at the stable, where the wranglers will match you with a horse that fits your individual abilities. Whether you are riding through groves of aspens, in the national forest, along the side of a butte with the Teton mountain vistas, an open meadow filled with wildflowers, or a secluded, historic gold mining camp and trapper s cabin, you will be sure to feel as though you are truly in the Old West! See professionals at the Jackson Hole Rodeo! This exhilarating activity is on WEDNESDAY and SATURDAY nights at the fairgrounds, which is located just blocks away from the resort. This is an activity for everyone where you can watch the rodeo events such as, Barrel Racing, Calf Roping, Bull Riding, Saddle and Bareback Bronc Riding, and Team Roping! 9

10 Chuckwagon Dinner and Dinner with a Show Step back in time to the Old West and enjoy the ride in the horse-drawn covered wagon to the outdoor dining with the reenactment of Indians chasing Cowboys. The ride will last about 15 to 20 minutes and ends with a Dutch Oven dinner in the covered campsite with live Wild West entertainment. This runs everyday but SUNDAYS. The Jackson Hole Playhouse was built in 1916 and is the oldest framed building in Jackson. It became the first live theatre in the 1950 s. Experience the western theatre that will entertain the family, friends, and groups nightly! Enjoy the Wild West dinner and show or the show only. This runs everyday but SUNDAY. The 2012 production is The Legend of Cat Ballou. 10
