1 Spanish Courses > Spanish Language and... > Courses Offered in 2010 If you are interested in doing a course at other times of the year besides the summer months, you may be interested in doing one of our two-, three-, four- or ten- week courses. For beginners, the third hour is Build your Vocabulary, whereas students in the three highest levels can choose from three different course offerings. You can add a fourth or fifth hour of class, if you wish, by choosing either one or two of the subjects from those offered at your level. Cursos Internacionales offers the following Monographic Courses in English: Economics/Political Science. European Union (45 hours) Economics/Political Science. Current Spain (45 hours) International Marketing (45 hours) Spanish Culture (45 hours)

2 N.B: The Spanish Language course is offered at four different levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced and proficiency. The maximum number of students allowed in these courses is 15. Students must choose between a minimum of 3 classroom hours per day and a maximum of 5. The first two hours of Spanish Language are mandatory whether you choose to have 3, 4 or 5 hours of class. Students can also add Monographical Courses in English to their Spanish Language and Culture Course. Please take note of the periods during which these are offered. The first day s only academic activity is a placement test, which will be used to determine each student s level of Spanish. Courses held in March will have 3 or 4 hours of classs: Spanish Language, Conversation and composition (Build your vocabulary in beginners levels) and/or Spanish Culture (Communicative Activities in beginners levels). 3 Spanish Courses > Spanish Language and... > Courses Offered in 2010 > Accommodation Cursos Internacionales can help you locate accommodation in a Spanish family or in a student residence hall. Management and assignment of accommodation 30 fee Spanish Family At any time of the year,cursos Internacionales can help you arrange a hosmestay with a Spanish family. Family accommodation prices for the year 2010 are as follows: Double room (shared with one other student): 19,00 (per person per day) Single room: 21,00 (per person per day) These prices include room and full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Families will also provide a packed lunch for excursions organized by Cursos Internacionales. Once you know the exact dates you will be needing a host family, you will be asked to pay Cursos Internacionales in advance. We will transfer the full amount to the host family. For an additional price, students can also ask for their families to provide them with a laundry and ironing service. The price for this service is 12,00 per week. Student Residence Hall At any time of the year, Cursos Internacionales can help you arrange a hosmestay in a student residence halls, in which you will have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world who share your interest in leaning Spanish and getting to know the Spanish culture. There are student residence halls which belong to the University of Salamanca and associated companies. You can get a single or double room, all of which have private bathrooms, internet access, and include full board. Prices for 2010 are: ROOM TWO WEEKS THREE WEEKS FOUR WEEKS Double Single You will be asked to pay the full amount of your stay to Cursos Internacionales in advance. These prices include room and full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). You will also be provided with a packed lunch for excursions organized by Cursos Internacionales. Students may check into the dormitory from 4:00 p.m the day before the beginning of the course and they must check out by 12:00 p.m. the day after the course has ended. As the dormitories do not provide towels, we kindly request that students bring their own.

If you have any doubts about any of this information, please contact our Main Office. Once you have fully understood the information below, fill in the application form and send it to us by post or . Your enrollment includes: Certificación y acreditación de los estudios por la Universidad de Salamanca. Official accreditation as a University of Salamanca student. This entitles you to have access to and use all University services and facilities, including libraries, computer rooms with internet access, sport facilities, student counselling services, and so on. Medical insurance Guided tours of Salamanca Didactic materials. o The language textbook used on your course. o Supplementary materials for the classroom. o A Cursos Internacionales folder and notepad. Terms and conditions of payment: You can choose from two different payment options: 1). you can pay the entire amount of your tuition in advance, or 2). you can pay the pre-enrollment fee of 300 euros and pay the remainder of the tuition fee at least fifteen days before the courses starts. Students who have already paid the full tuition or the pre-enrollment fee and who are unable to attend the course are subject to the following cancellation charges: o For cancellations made at least fifteen days prior to the beginning of the course: 100 euros. o For cancellations made less than fifteen days prior to the beginning of the course: 150 euros. o N.B. All cancellations must be made in writing. Cursos Internacionales cannot be held responsible for any bank commissions or costs incurred in making payment, as these must be fulfilled by the student. Students will be considered paid in full only when full tuition payment has been received by Cursos Internacionales. Students will not be entitled to reimbursement of any part of the tuition if they are unable to attend or cancel after classes have already started. Cursos Internacionales cannot guarantee a spot on a course for students who do not attend on the first day of class. Students unable to attend on the first day must notify Cursos Internacionales prior to the first classroom session. Cursos Internacionales reserves the right to cancel or change those options or courses with too few students. If a course or option is cancelled, students will be reimbursed. Students who wish to change courses after classes have started may do so provided they pay a 30 euro fee and that there are open places on the course they want to change to.
