LATZER CHIEF OF STAFF DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE (610) DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S FAX (610) COUNTY DETECTIVE BUREAU (610) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NOVEMBER 10, 2014 Operation Crosshairs Leads to Arrests and Recovery of Firearms Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, Hatfield Township Police Chief William Tierney, Municipality of Norristown Chief of Police Mark E. Talbot and Lansdale Borough Chief of Police Robert McDyre announce the arrest of Andrew Rocco for charges relating to the burglaries of Dell s Firearm Specialists located at 1217 Walnut Street in Hatfield Township and Modern Tactical located at 3 West Main Street in Lansdale where he stole numerous firearms and illegally sold stolen firearms to straw purchasers. In response to burglaries reported at two local firearms stores, local, county and federal investigators worked together to find the persons responsible for the burglaries and to track and recover the stolen firearms. The agencies contributing to the investigation were Hatfield PD, Lansdale PD, Norristown PD, Towamencin PD, Montgomery Township PD, Ambler PD, Whitpain PD, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Violent Crime and Technology Unit of the Montgomery County Detective Bureau. So far, the investigators have been able to recover two of the stolen firearms. Those recovered firearms are:
