THE PLACE The Giaccherino area and its buildings are one of the most evocative and representative places of Pistoia territory, a structure which used to host a convent and has been finely restructured so to offer today all modern facilities together with full respect for architecture, history and culture embosomed in its walls. The Monastery was founded in the XV century and in has been home to different religious Orders. The origins of the structure are clearly represented in the still beautifully preserved cloisters, church, tower and refectory whose frescoes add pregnancy to the atmosphere. Today the Convento di Giaccherino is apt to host different events in the field of cultural, artistic and recreational. Halls and rooms with a capacity from 10 to 600 people, classrooms for adult training, cafeteria, offices, together with about 20 double rooms completely furnished with beds, wardrobe with key and bedtable make the Convento di Giaccherino the ideal space for a full immersion Italian Language Summer Camp. There is also a fully equipped kitchen which allows the in house preparation of meals and snacks for a juvenile group of students who can learn Italian, get an insight on the real Italian way of life while being in a beautiful and protected space from which all excursions to the main touristic attractions in Tuscany are possible. Florence is only twenty miles away, Lucca thirty five, Pisa forty and Siena about sixty miles from the Convento: all of them easily reachable in a one day trip by car or railway. The beautiful garden, the cloisters and the vast open spaces in the structure offer differ opportunities for in- and outdoor

STUDENTS SPACES There are classrooms of different size so to accommodate the students all together for common classes or divide them into small groups for specific learning needs: on the first floor of the building there are two classes - Aula San Pierino and Aula Sant Antonio - which are specifically thought for foreign students. Both these rooms are spacious, bright, quiet and both have large windows from which a superb panoramic view can be enjoyed On the same floor there is also the Saletta Convivio where students and teachers will find biologic fruit juices, coffee and tea all day long. On the same level students will find bathrooms and restrooms, newly restructured, equipped with hot-water showers, with independent heat system. On the premises there is a 24h security service which can be alerted for any need or emergency 3. ACCOMMODATION & FOOD SERVICE All bedrooms are fully furnished, with a private, single-locked wardrobe. Wi-fi in all the premises. Bathrooms, showers, toilets are on the same floor, only steps way from the bedrooms..

4 As to meals and food, the structure will provide three meals a day: breakfast with coffee, milk, tea, croissants, cheese, salami, eggs and fruit juice. After school the students will have a buffet light lunch with different hot and cold dishes, water and juices. At 7 p.m. tables will be set for the in-house cooked two-course dinner, no alcoholic drinks allowed for the students. All menus are taken from Tuscany traditional cuisine and will give students and teachers an opportunity to taste the typical dishes of the territory whose ingredients and preparation are tightly intermingled to the local culture. Although rich in meat dishes, the Italian cuisine in general and the Tuscan in particular, use a lot of season vegetables, so that no problem will arise from meat-free menus. 4.
