5 The Online Form Personal details Additional information gender, criminal convictions and finance code. 6 What happens? 1 Students Log onto UCAS Apply and begin to complete their form. Miss Wright will assist. (must enter the buzzword canary17) 2 Students will liaise with tutor, myself, Dr Morris regarding the completion of their Personal Statement. This could take several drafts. (Students have examples) 3 Students enter final copy of Personal Statement onto UCAS apply. (Copy and paste from Word document) 4 Student makes final checks of form.

7 What happens? 5 Once the student has completed their parts, they pay the fee then click send to referee ( 23) 6 Reference is then written by myself, Dr Morris or tutor, and then added and sent. 7 Students wait to hear back in terms of offers. (Around February onwards) KEEP IN MIND ITS WORTH APPLYING EARLY.

10 How to choose a course and university It is ultimately up to the student what they choose. They are allowed to make 5 (or 4 if Medicine) choices A good rule to follow is to have: 2 choices that are aspirational, 2 choices that are realistic in terms of predicted grades, 1 choice that they would confidently meet the entry requirements. USE THE UCAS SEARCH TOOL
