2 Justin Meyer PAGE 2 instruments actively used in both research and clinical practice settings. Research Assistant, Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE): Zero-Tolerance Project The Zero-Tolerance Project is a research study conducted at several university campuses, including Penn State, which was designed to collect data on drinking and driving activities around campus. The study s purpose is to examine the effectiveness of several intervention programs by comparing baseline drinking and driving activity with post-intervention drinking and driving activity. As a research assistant, I assisted in the collection of data from study participants, which included survey data, passive alcohol sensor data, and breathalyzer results. This project was coordinated with the local police department, and a uniformed police officer was present during data collection. Date: 2010 Research Assistant, Laboratory of Personality, Psychopathology, and Psychotherapy, Pennsylvania State University. As a research assistant in Dr. Kenneth Levy s research lab, I have been directly involved in a wide variety of various projects relating to personality and psychopathology. I have had the opportunity to transcribe the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI), enter data, and analyze data using SPSS. I have also been involved in an on-going study examining Cortisol in individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, through the use of the Trier Social Stress Test, for which I have been a head-judge numerous times. I have also been able to examine adult attachment as it relates to emotion perception, in a research project sponsored by the Ronald E. McNair program at Penn State. I am currently the project coordinator for a project utilizing the Reading the Mind in the Eyes Task, as well as the lab manager for Dr. Kenneth Levy. Dates: Principal Investigator: Kenneth N.
