2 KA Gives Thanks Thank you God for our world so good, Our country, America And it s neighborhood. Thank you for our Christian school, Where we learn to live the Golden Rule. Thank you for our families Who show us that they care; And for the many blessings You have given us to share.

3 KB s Poem We re thankful for our mom and dad Our pets and family, they make us glad. We re thankful for our school and friends School days are great and so are the weekends. Most of all, we re thankful for God s love He is so good to us, we are so blessed from above.

4 1A The First Thanksgiving Feast A long time ago, the Pilgrims came, They traveled on the Mayflower. From England to America they came, They crossed the ocean hour by hour. When they arrived a feast they planned, They gathered berries and hunted turkey to eat. The Pilgrims celebrated finding the new land, They thanked God for fruit and meat.

5 1B We Are Thankful We are thankful for our class and to learn about God, too. We are thankful for our teachers and that we have paper, scissors and glue. We're thankful for our lunches and our fantastic playground. We're thankful for our friends and even the Lost and Found. We're thankful for PCA and everyone here. We're thankful for math and reading so let's give a cheer!

6 2A s Thankful Hearts Two A is thankful for Happy hearts because God lives in US All the people in our families Nation that we live in Kindness that comes from others Faithful songs we sing Useful minds for thinking of others Living out life as a Christian Homes to live in Everybody in our class and school All the friends that do things together Rejoicing for our books and toys Teachers that teach us everyday Seeing all of nature

7 A Thanksgiving Poem By 2B Thank You, God, for the earth, for the blue sky, and for the green grass! Thank You, God, for the pretty flowers, for the twinkling stars, and for all the cute animals! Thank You, God, for our families, for our friends, and for Jesus! Thank You, God!

8 Thanksgiving Matters by 3A Thanksgiving is about sharing, Having a thankful heart for family and friends. Thinking of others is very caring, God is our guide and his love never ends. Loving each other is what we do, And following God to help us come through. Trials may come, but in Him we will trust, So walking with God is surely a must.

9 3B Thanking Jesus We re thankful for Jesus, dying on the cross, for all of us. Everything he does, big or small, miracles and all. We love what Jesus has done, so many things under the sun. We are thankful for Him every day, but especially on Thanksgiving Day! Thank you, Jesus.

10 We are Thankful by 4A It is almost Thanksgiving at the end of November, which means it is time for us to remember, The many things we are thankful for, especially God whom we adore. We are thankful for brave soldiers who fight in war, to help our country keep our freedom forevermore. For our caring family and friends, who will stick with us to the very end. For our homes that keep us toasty warm, safe and sound from any raging storm. We are thankful for the starry sky, and many magnificent birds that fly. For the water that flows into crystal clear lakes, and snow that falls in tiny white flakes. We are thankful for special sights, like giant super moons on clear fall nights. For teachers who help us learn and grow bright, even though they give us homework every night. We are thankful for books to read, that start to grow in us, a tiny learning seed. For the Bible to teach of Jesus light, and to help us to know and do what is right. We are thankful to Jesus who died on the cross, so that our sin could be forgiven and lost. We thank God for all these wonderful things, that to us all He graciously brings.

11 Thanksgiving Poem by 4B We are thankful for things, here in 4B like sports and friends and family. Our families are loving, kind and sweet Especially grandparents who give us treats Friends are the ones who help us through hard times They make us laugh and ease our minds We are thankful for the roof over our head so we can be warm inside our bed Our teacher helps us learn every day She helps us do our best in every way We re thankful for all our school supplies because other kids don t have them in their lives Sports are exciting and fun we re always sad when they are done Books take us to all new places we go on adventures and solve new cases We re thankful to God for all of these things and all the blessings that He brings.

12 5A A Thanksgiving Reflection By Casey Brunson Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate, Not turkey or stuffing or mashed potatoes though. It is a time to celebrate the Holy, all perfect one, God. Because without Him there, Would be none of those things, No us, no food, Absolutely nothing would exist without him. There are many things to be thankful for but, Sometimes we just don t realize it. We can be thankful for family, for pets, for food, For this Earth, for life, for Jesus dying on the cross. That s a big thing! He was dying for us! The sinners, the haters, the criminals! There are so many reasons to be thankful. So Why not be?

13 5B is Grateful We are grateful, Let us tell you all the ways... the first is for our faith in Christ. We are grateful for His love, His forgiving all our sins We re grateful for the Holy Spirit who lives within our hearts. We are grateful for His mercy, His continual supply of grace We re grateful that He knows everything we face. We are grateful for the truth of His Word, keeping us on the trail of faith We are grateful that we ll never know the full consequences of our sins. Why is 5B so grateful? We are unable to count all the ways... but, for these we are grateful as we give God all our praise!

14 6A Is in a Thankful Mood For starters we are thankful for water and food For houses and our pet So we do not fret We are thankful for the Bible That God could share his Word And how he said it loud and clear So that we may all hear We are thankful for America And that we are all free to live here We are thankful for sports Especially our basketball court Finally we are thankful for our friends and family That we may live joyfully.

15 6B Thanksgiving Poem We re thankful for water to drink and energy to think. We re grateful for pets that play and horses that eat hay. For family with whom we stay and friends that won t betray. We re happy for air that we breathe each hour and the food that we devour. We re thankful for God who made us and Jesus who saved us. We thank Him for this holiday, so we can bless Him while we pray. We thank God in these many ways, and continue to praise Him every day!

16 7A Thanksgiving Poem Thanksgiving is full of happiness and joy, For the mother, the father, the girl and the boy. It s time to eat, so let s say grace, Don t worry about picking up the pace. Don t be afraid to have some fun, Thanksgiving is a time for everyone. Make sure to share in lots of laughter, To praise God, and be blessed after. So as you wrap up your Thanksgiving feast, Say a prayer of thanks, of love, of peace.

17 7B Thanksgiving Poem Thankfulness is a passion, Thankfulness comes in many fashions. We are thankful for education, and for no discrimination. We are thankful for sports and for tennis courts. We are thankful for the food we eat, and for people we meet. We are thankful for pets, and the vets that keep our country safe. But most of all, we are thankful for our faith which keeps us tall.

18 8A's Poem Grass, trees, love and joy; Puns, fun, food and toys. Freedom of religion, Freedom of speech, Ziploc bags, And people who teach. We love our eyes, our noses, our ears, Chocolate and turkey and Cort's shaven beard. We love our homework; we love our grades. We love IIM's (JK, please give us all A's). Thank you for sunshine and parents and school, For beaches and lakes and swimming pools. Thank you for providing us with necessary knowledge, and skills for life that will help us in college. Thank you for God and the Word He's provided; Heaven and earth - the worlds that collided.
