1 Introduction has enhanced our credit card purchasing program by providing a new electronic program with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. The new process accesses your account through the Internet, allowing you to log on to your account and electronically view transactions, statements, and submit disputes. Electronic statements will replace paper statements. You will no longer receive paper statements through the U. S. Mail. System Log On Instructions This process is for the card holder and non-card holder. From your primary computer (a computer you use on a daily basis), in the Internet address field, The J.P. Morgan Log On screen will be displayed. You will be required to register your computer. To log on for the first time, on the Log On screen, Organization ID (MDCPS01) User ID (your employee number) (MDCPS01) Password Log On The message will be displayed to confirm that your computer has been registered with PaymentNet as your primary computer. 2 Computer Registration The computer registration message pop-up box will be displayed the first time a computer accesses the site. The bank keeps track of the computer you use. You may use as many computers as you wish. The bank will register each computer by sending you an with an activation code that will need to be confirmed. OK You will be required to create a password before accessing the PaymentNet system. January 2012 Page 2

3 Password Setup/Change You must change your default password. The PaymentNet system will ask you to change your password every 90 days, although you are able to change it as needed. NOTE: Remember your password! Passwords are case sensitive and must include: 6 8 characters at least 1 letter and 1 number no special characters cannot be your user ID or any of your last 5 passwords From the My Profile icon, on the Home page, Change Password Organization ID (MDCPS01) User ID (your employee number) Following the password restrictions above, your new password In the Re-enter New Password field, your new password again To continue, Next The following message will be displayed on the screen, indicating that you have successfully changed your password. To continue, Next The Security Authentication Questions form will be displayed. January 2012 Page 3

4 Security Authentication Questions The Security Authentication Questions are to be used to verify your identity in the event you forget your password or you need to speak to the bank regarding lost/stolen cards or fraudulent activity. You must answer at least 3 of the 5 security questions below. It is recommended that you answer all 5. After completing the questions and answers, Submit January 2012 Page 4

6 Items Awaiting Your Action and Alerts Items Awaiting Your Action are located on the right side of the Welcome screen, providing you with quick links to key actions such as: Transactions to be reviewed ( notification of credit card changes) Files available for Download None no items awaiting your attention Alerts allow for the following type of messages: Messages from the Program Administration Group to the end-users. Messages from J.P. Morgan to all PaymentNet users January 2012 Page 6

7 Viewing Transactions (For Cardholders) To display the transactions posted to the account that you are authorized to view, Select Select Transactions and then, Manage The Transaction List will be displayed. To view a single transaction, on the Transaction ID number January 2012 Page 7

9 Disputing Transactions Before disputing a transaction, you MUST first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the merchant. To display the Transaction List screen, Transactions and then, Manage The Transaction List will be displayed. 10 From the Dispute Reason screen, Confirm Select Type your address the Dispute Reason from the drop-down list. The system will refresh and may require additional field input. applicable information in the Additional Information field, if needed Submit Note: Track the status of your dispute online on the Transaction Screen List. Click the colored squares and follow the steps to Undo or Resolve disputes. January 2012 Page 10

11 Printing Statements To display the statement summary screen for the previous billing cycle activity, Transactions and then, Statements To select the statement you want to view and/or print, Billing Date drop down box Download Statement The statement will be displayed, which you can print to use for your reconciliation activities. For security purposes the transaction and statement screens are not being displayed here. Viewing and Printing Statements (For Non Card Holders) Administrators can authorize view only rights to staff members (assistant principal, treasurer) to view and print statements and to reconcile the credit card. To display the transactions posted to the account that you are authorized to view, Select Select Accounts and then, Manage The Account List will be displayed. January 2012 Page 11

13 Profile Management (Security Questions and Notifications) You are able to change at any time the answers to the security questions you provided in the initial set-up. To display your profile information, on the top right hand corner, My Profile Under the Enable Notifications for: column, you MUST click on My Profile for Transactions for Review. This feature will send you an when transactions post to your account. You can go into PaymentNet to view the transaction, or notify your designee to do so to verify the validity of what is posting to your account. Save The following message will be displayed on the screen indicating your changes have successfully been saved. January 2012 Page 13

14 Profile Management (Changing Password) To display your profile information, on top right hand corner, My Profile To change your password, Change Password link The fields needed to change your password will be displayed. In the Current Password field, following the guidelines displayed on the screen for password format, your current password your new password In the Confirm New Password field, to confirm the change, your new password again Save The following message will be displayed on the screen indicating your changes have successfully been saved. 15 Logging into an Unregistered Computer For security purposes, you must register your user ID on each computer you use to access PaymentNet. If you try to access PaymentNet from an unregistered computer, PaymentNet will guide you through the registration process. After your attempt to logon, the Register Machine screen will be displayed. Follow the previously steps to log on to PaymentNet. It is highly recommended that you DO NOT select the Remember my Organization ID checkbox if you are logging in from a public computer.
