How do we do it? We ARMOR UP! From the Principal Thank you to everyone who donated towards the staff Christmas gift and those who individually gave special gifts to our teachers and myself. Your gifts are greatly appreciated and we wish to thank you for your generosity. Christmas Program and Bake Sale Thank you to everyone who contributed items to the bake sale, sold items, helped with clean up after the program. Thank you to our teachers and the students who shared their talents in our Christmas program. We couldn t have a successful evening without you. Bus Parent Meeting Follow-Up Thank you to those parents who shared suggestions and opinions about finding a solution to funding the bus service between campuses. The school board decided in the meeting of December 13 to increase the cost of riding to bus to $2.00 one way beginning January 4, the first day back after Christmas. In addition, Mr. David Garr has offered to give Concordia one free day per week until our finances improve. He also will continue the discount when the invoice is paid on time. These things will help to improve the discrepancy between income and expense so that bus service can be continued. Concordia School Board. Anchored In Christ Auction Dear Friend of Concordia Lutheran School, The mission of Concordia Lutheran School is with one heart, to equip God s children to grow as disciples in His word through a Christ-centered education. Our annual auction enables us to raise the funds necessary to continue our ministry and help our students grow. We will hold our annual auction on Sunday, February 19 th at the Hellenic Center, Westland. Funds are needed to help with the expenses of our school: tuition assistance for needy students, subsidizing our transportation program and purchasing curriculum materials and new technology items. Our goal is to raise at least $50,000. The theme for the 2017 Auction is Anchored in Christ. This theme reflects the mission of our school and that what we do here is anchored in Christ. Your donation is desperately needed this year to help our school continue to educate students. Would you please consider a donation to our auction?
