1 Paper plate angels are quick and easy way to make Christmas decorations or a tree top ornament. What you'll need Paper plates Scissors Glue Pens and pencils Glitter Step 1 Mark out a shape similar to the one on the plate pictured. You can do it in pencil but I have marked it it in pen so it's easier to see.

2 Step 2 Step 3 Cut it out as pictured Decorate with colouring pens Step 4 Apply some glue around the edge of the plate and anywhere else you wish and sprinkle glitter on to it. You may want to do this over a spare plate so you can save the excess glitter for later Step 5 Put some glue on the end of the skirt part of the angel, curve it round and bring the opposite end round to meet it. Hold it in place until stuck.

3 Step 6 Put some glue on the hand of the angel and bring it out to meet the opposite hand. Hold in place until stuck Finished! You may want to make a small fold across the waist of the angel to help it keep balance. As an alternative you can cut holes in different shapes in the angel and place an electronic tea light behind it for a different effect.

4 Crisp Tube Snowman are a bit messy but fun to make and great for storing Christmas surprises in. What you'll need An empty clean crisp tube, A kitchen or toilet roll tube, Cotton wool, Scraps of card, coloured paper and wrapping paper, Scissors and Glue Step 1 Carefully cut the crisp tube about 1/3 from the top and cut the kitchen roll tube length ways and in the middle to form 2 C shapes

5 Step 2 Apply some glue around the edge of the top section of the tube and attach one of your kitchen roll sections half way out. Attach the second kitchen roll tube section to complete the inner tube. Step 3 Pull apart the cotton wool. Put some glue on a section of the tube and cover it in cotton wool. Repeat until the entire tube is covered, remembering to cover the top and careful not to glue the two sections together.

6 Step 4 Taking some of your scrap wrapping paper cut a long narrow rectangle and tie it at the top of the lower tube secton like a scarf. Cut various sizes of circles to glue in place as eyes, mouth and buttons (these do not need to be black :) ) Step 5 To make a hat cut out a larger circle of paper and a long wide rectangle. Put some glue on one end of the rectangle and glue it into a tube. Cut little tabs along one end, fold them in and glue them onto the large circle. Glue the hat on top.

7 Step 6 To make a nose cut a piece of paper into a quarter of a circle and roll it into a cone shape gluing the last corner to hold it in shape. Dip the open end in the glue and attach it to your snowman's face. Finished! Now your Crisp Tube Snowman is ready to fill with Christmas surprises. Remember It doesn't need to be a snowman or for Christmas, you can make these for other holidays or occasions :)

8 Make it a white Christmas regardless the weather with a Jar Snow Globe What you'll need An empty clean jar A plastic Christmas ornament that fits in the jar Glycerine Glitter Glue dots Old wrapping paper Old wrapping ribbon Scissors Water Step 1 Place some glue dots on the base of your christmas ornament and attach it to the Inside of the jar lid.

9 Step 2 Fill the jar about 1/3 with glycerine. Add glitter and fill up with water remembering to leave about 1 cm space at the top. Screw the lid on tightly. Step 3 Cut out a circle larger than the jar lid from the wrapping paper and fold it down around the jar. Tie it in place with some ribbon. If its plastic ribbon you can draw scissors along the loose end to make it curly. Finished! Remember, you can do this with all sorts of different shapes of Jars :)

10 Make decorative Christmas wreaths for your door or walls with your scraps from wrapping and paper plates. What you'll need Paper Plates Scrap wrapping Scissors Double sided tape/pva or glue sticks Ribbon or string (optional) to hang

11 There is usually enough room to stick two rows, sometimes 3 if you want an extra bulky wreath decoration. Once you have attached the paper loops you can stick a row of decorations to finish it off with a flourish. You can use a stamp cutter and more scrap paper or add a row of glitter or sequins. Whatever enhances your design most. Attach a piece of string to hang your finished wreath on your door or wall. You can vary the theme of your decorations by using wrapping or coloured papers to fit with any holiday or celebration.

12 Make a gift giving gift for your tree or walls upcyling old card. You will need: Snowman or other character stencil. Box stencil Old cereal box or shirt card Scrap wrapping paper Scissors, pencil, black paper or card Double sided tape and pva glue Cotton wool balls How to: Cut out your box and snowman from the cereal box or shirt card. Cover your box with scrap paper before folding. Add double sided tape to these corners of the box

13 stick the box together once folded into shape. The sides with the tape end up on the outside of the box. Stick the box to the centre of the snowman and cover the remaining surface with cotton balls. Once finished, use black paper or card to cut out small circles to make the eyes and mouth of the snowman. If you have other scrap patterned paper to hand make your snowman a hat and glue it on. Attach ribbon to hang your decoration on the tree or next to your stockings and fill your box with sweets or treats. The box can be attached to any character, depending on the theme. Stencils for a snowman and also a fairy are included as part of this pack.
