Basic Level courses are designed for users who are new to Microsoft Excel These courses introduce participants to the basic skills required to use Microsoft Excel Successful completion of one of these courses will provide participants with the skills required to perform basic Excel tasks. It will also empower them to move higher to our next level course Microsoft Excel Intermediate. We have provided herewith 3 different checklists, which will guide you in judging your present Microsoft Excel level and skill sets. About the Course: These three-day courses cover the basics of Microsoft Excel Participants, who feel they already have some basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel 2010, or are familiar with some of the features of Excel, should view it as a 'refresher'. Course Objectives: On successful completion of the course, participants will be able to: Understand the basics of Microsoft Excel 2010 Understand how to navigate efficiently to the relevant tools within the Microsoft Excel Ribbon Prepare and format Microsoft Excel 2010 sheets Use data within a sheet to create charts and graphs Review the various chart options available in Microsoft Excel 2010, and how they can be used Be able to insert media into Excel sheets, charts, etc. Eligibility and Pre-requisites: Class I officers from various departments of Government of Maharashtra are eligible to register for the course in their preferred batch. These participants are expected to possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment. They must be familiar with using personal computers for some of their office tasks. They should be comfortable navigating in Windows XP/7/8 environment, including managing files and folders.
