2 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The Project was approved on March 30, 2010 by the World Bank Board of Executive Directors, and is effective since December 31, Project activities started effectively on the ground only in May The project has completed its fourth implementation year. The project mid-term review took place from February 3-24, 2014 followed by two small implementation support missions in October 2014 and in March Implementation of activities have considerably improved since the last review with a disbursement ratio increasing from 64% by end 2014 to 83% (per Client Connection as of June 14, 2015). Following results have been reported: 1,539 tons of commercial seeds for different crops produced by the seed multipliers and disseminated (compared to a target of 1,500 tons %); 1527 km of rural roads rehabilitated compared to the target of 2,500 km (61%). 500 villages have benefitted from the rural roads and 50,000 jobs created due to civil works. A total of 107,403 households have already benefited from diverse project activities out of the target of 105,000 households by project end (102%). A second vaccination campaign has been conducted following the first one completed in 2014 with a total of more than 2.7 million poultry and more than 555,000 small ruminants vaccinated.
