1 IIFA Buzz Events FREE Dance Workshops: Express Yourself, Bollywood Style Celebrate the uplifting music and dance of Bollywood, the popular term for India's film industry. Students will learn about exciting Bollywood dance which fuses Indian and Western dance form. The City of s Culture Division is offering this opportunity in partnership with the Living Arts Centre (LAC) to schools across the city. Each workshop is one hour and has a maximum of 60 participants. The program is filling up fast but there are spots still available. No Purchase Necessary: Random draw contest takes place during each participating event. Correct answer to math skill testing question required to win. Enter by filling out a ballot at a CIBC tent. One (1) pair of IIFA tickets (ARV $125) to the Awards Show on June 25th available to be won at each participating CIBC Bollywood Under the Stars Movie night event listed above. Bollywood Monster Mash-Up is an original production created especially for the night featuring Bollywood singer Monali Thakur, jsin, The Alphabet Backwards, Divine Heritage Artistry dance troupe and more. Come out and to hear popular songs spanning the black & white era of Indian Cinema to the modern hits of Bollywood in ways you've never heard them before. From electronic remixes and rock remakes to symphonic renditions, this is a show that is sure to get you up and dancing. Dhamaka! Saturday, June Activities throughout the will create amazing Bollywood memories for all members of the family as everything comes alive in the North. FASHION BUZZ Featuring showcases from four top fashion houses highlighting their collections. Great food, exciting performances and engaging activities will ensure a fun filled afternoon. Activities include the following: Come help put in the history books by setting a world record for the Largest Bollywood Dance Class. Check back for registration details.
