Acts 7:44 The Altar of the Burnt Offering 1. The brazen altar is cubits long and cubits wide and cubits high. Since a cubit equals 18 inches, the brazen altar is 7 feet, 6 inches long, 7 feet, 6 inches wide and 4 feet, 6 inches high. 2. 7 The Altar of Incense 25. The Altar of Incense is cubit long and cubit wide and cubits high. Since a cubit equals 18 inches, the Altar of Incense is 1 foot, 6 inches long, 1 foot, 6 inches wide and 3 feet high. Exodus 30:2 A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same. 26. 9 The Ark of the Testimony The Hebrew word, Arown, which is translated ark in Exodus 25:22 and Exodus 26:33 literally means coffin. The Ark of Testimony in the Holy of Holies is a coffin that is symbolic of the death of Jesus. Exodus 25:22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel. Exodus 26:33 And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy. Exodus 25:20 And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be. 39. The mercy seat is a place were God will with Moses and later the High Priest. Inside of the ark was placed the golden pot that had, Aaron's that budded and the tables of the. Hebrews 9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; 41. The manna is symbolic of Jesus as the true from heaven.
