1 ECONS Education Summit and Excellence Awards INTRODUCTION As you may be aware that ECONS is the leading education consultants and provide consultation, transformation and various type of value addition related to education, training & placements. Like previous years as a part of our commitment to the society from education point of view ECONS is organizing its third education summit on 23 rd April 2016 At Hotel Crowne Plaza Rohini. We intend utilizing this opportunity in recognizing, acknowledging and appreciating the good work done by schools, colleges, institutes and individuals connected with education sector in the form of Education Excellence Award. The Present education system in India is just learning the things theoretically and not reaching the actual point of things through practical way. The student have innovative and creative ideas but we don t have proper facilities to implement them that is where our education systems is lagging and that is why many of them are flying to other countries to do their masters. India needs to develop its own education system which includes the best ideas from the Gurukul system, British systems as well as other education systems from around the world. We need to educate our youth to become good skilled citizens some of whom will become strong leaders who serve the people instead of their own interests. Education leads to empowerment, i.e., a process of strengthening individuals, organizations and communities so they get more control over their own situations and environment. A good quality education is one that provides all learners with capabilities they require to become economically productive, develop sustainable livelihoods, contribute to peaceful and democrative societies and enhance individual s capabilities. Present government is working in full trust on the above issues and making funds available for infrastructure and developments so that education sector gets the required attention and thrust to all the members of civilized society. KEY HIGHLIGHTS of Event As per suggestions and feedback obtained during previous ECONS awards from the participants, it is proposed to utilize the time during the above function optimally especially for outstation members. A local education tour is proposed to be organized at no profit no loss basis for the next two days, subject to response from adequate number of Delegates/ Participants. The details preliminary of the proposed is available as per request. After understanding the gap between quality jobs and quality placement, It is also pertinent to mention here that we have launched a new portal Vijai Bhav Error! Hyperlink reference not valid. as a part of commitment to education sector which can be utilized by everyone. We are of the opinion that this portal would prove to be a boom for all the education related activities, information and issues related to education sector. 1 P a g e
