4 MTA CONVENTION REGISTRATION INFORMATION Please complete the enclosed convention registration form and return to MTA. Registration forms must be received no later than May 9, Registrations received after this date will incur a $100 late fee. No Refunds for registration/activities will be given after May 27, Convention registrants may pick up their convention packets at the registration desk, located on the first floor of the Hilton next to the ballrooms. Registration hours are 3:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9th. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa is the official headquarters for the annual MTA convention. The convention registration fee does not include hotel reservations. You are responsible for reserving your hotel accommodations directly with the resort. To make reservations, call , and use the group code MTA to receive our group rate. Rooms may also be reserved online at: with the group code MTA. Rates in the Spa Tower are $289/night; Emerald Tower rates are $319/night. THE DEADLINE TO MAKE YOUR ROOM RESERVATION IS MAY 9, 2016 ALL ROOMS WILL BE RELEASED AFTER THIS DATE, AND THE ROOM RATES WILL BE INCREASED. THE HOTEL IS VERY LIKELY TO SELL OUT OF ROOMS, SO PLEASE DO NOT DELAY...BOOK YOUR ROOM EARLY!!!! Hotel check-in is 4:00 p.m., and checkout time is 11:00 a.m. In the event that you checkout prior to your reservation departure date, the hotel will charge one night s stay plus tax for an early departure fee. SPONSOR APPRECIATION RECEPTION On Friday night, MTA will be hosting a reception for convention sponsors and motor carriers ONLY. Without this generous contributions of our sponsors, the convention would not be such a valuable and enjoyable event for all of the attendees. This is our way of spotlighting those sponsors who make this whole thing possible and showing how much we truly appreciate their support. GOLF TOURNAMENT The Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 1oth at the beautiful Kelly Plantation Golf Club with an 11:30 a.m. Shotgun Start. Registration begins at 11:30a.m. Boxed lunches will be provided. The fee is $200 per player. Prizes will be awarded at the General Session on Saturday morning. Please note that you must be fully registered to the MTA Convention in order to participate in the Golf Tournament. You are responsible for your own transportation to the golf course.
