88 Safety Tips! Be Alert of your surroundings at all times. Ensure that you are wearing your Land Band Vest and you have your Land Bank Contact Cards. Make sure you park you car in a safe area and don t leave any valuables in your car. Take time to understand your map and where you are being routed. Stay with your team; do not split up. Do not go on any private property or into any vacant structures. Do not take pictures of persons on the property, and if the property owner does not want their home photographed, please respect their request and move on to the next property. If you engage with a citizen and they want more information give them a contact card. Do not agree to go into a structure, but politely let the resident know that you are on a time schedule and that they can call the Land Bank with any additional questions. If you feel threatened please leave the area and call 911 or one of the staff members listed on your Land Bank Staff Contact Sheet. If you notice an unleashed dog in the area, walk; don t run back to your vehicle. If your vehicle breaks down, stay in your car and call for help. Dress conservatively and wear comfortable shoes.
89 When you have completed your work, please return to your check-in location to return your survey materials and equipment. You may be asked to complete a short exit interview. Thank you for helping to strengthen Toledo s neighborhoods!
