5 RILEY / CENTRAL FIELDS - Baseball facilities are in decent shape - Multipurpose fields are severely stressed, compacted, undulated and worn with virtually no grass coverage within the playing fields liability issues - Compaction and settlement within the playing fields has resulted in drainage issues - Large site with 6+ youth soccer fields - No perimeter fencing or netting - On site parking but no handicap access from parking areas - Issues with abutters

6 RILEY / CENTRAL FIELDS - Baseball facilities are in decent shape - Multipurpose fields are severely stressed, compacted, undulated and worn with virtually no grass coverage within the playing fields liability issues - Compaction and settlement within the playing fields has resulted in drainage issues - Large site with 6+ youth soccer fields - No perimeter fencing or netting - On site parking but no handicap access from parking areas - Issues with abutters

PINGREE SCHOOL - Multipurpose use - youth baseball / softball / soccer - Significant wear at multiple areas of field of multipurpose field - Perimeter fencing and backstop are in decent shape with some minor issues - On site parking - Multiple areas with serious settlement issues, especially right field baseball field and east of multipurpose field (stump dump) and should be considered liability issues - Basketball court, hockey rink, and skate park are in need of repair - Extremely poor grass coverage and extreme compaction were noted

11 LEGION FIELD - Weymouth High School football field until Wetland plant species have colonized in several areas of the site - Grandstand have been removed ledge underneath - Large portions of the site have pockets of peat surcharging program completed on portion of site - Substantial settlement on western most tennis courts - Approximately 50% of the site appears to be weeds growing out of urban fill - Existing wall and fence recently refurbished with CPA funds - Fencing on southern and eastern sides of the property needs to be replaced

14 BICKNELL FIELD - Multipurpose / baseball field primarily used by Youth Soccer and SSC Academy - Not ideal orientation for baseball, pronounced lip at the edge of the infield - Considerable wear / compaction at soccer goal areas and throughout mid-field - Grass coverage is poor due to compaction and lack of irrigation weeds have overtaken - Rusted / dilapidated perimeter fencing and backstop with overgrown vegetation growing in the mesh - Overgrown and underutilized area in the southwest corner of the site - Site is surrounded by mature trees providing natural shade - Limited on site parking

17 RALPH TALBOT SCHOOL - Multipurpose use youth baseball / softball /soccer and lacrosse - Significant wear, undulations and compaction throughout the multipurpose fields irrigation is not working and covers to most existing valve boxes are broken creating field hazards - Infield needs some maintenance and the grass is dry and dead in most areas - The multipurpose fields are tiered, with about 18 grade change and fence separating between fields - Plenty of on site parking and access to multipurpose fields is defined by thick vegetation between school and fields
