Acrossthecountrymanynurseleadersare tryingtotakenursingtothenextleveland createacultureofengagement.asyouall know,hospitalsareconstantlytryingto advanceitspracticesandimprovethequalityof carebeingprovidedtotheirpatients.oneof thewayshospitalsincaliforniaarerecognizing thisneedforimprovedqualityofcareis throughthereportsproducedbypressganey. Whiletheremaybeanumberofopportunities forhospitalstoimproveupon,majorissues acrosstheboardincludepatientsatisfaction, patienteducation,andpatientsafety.by incorporatingacultureofengagementand havingacooperativebuy infromnursesonthe unitandwithintheorganizationitisbelieved thatissuesliketheonespreviouslystatedwill diminishandbringaboutadditionalbenefits. Someoftheseadditionalbenefitsmayinclude enhancedemployeesatisfaction,decreased nurseturnover,improvedorganizational finances,andevenbetternurse doctor communicationandworkingrelationships.
