Looming over Salisbury Plain this Neolithic monument with its 50 ton pillars, part calendar, part place of worship dates back over 3,000 years Travel to the Roman City of Bath to marvel at the stunning Georgian architecture and enjoy a guided tour of the Roman Baths and Pump Room. The entire city of Bath has been designated as a World Heritage Site Return to London Day 5 Guided tour of Westminster Abbey. This world famous church presents a stunning trip through the history of the British Isles. 5 extension 1 IRELAND, THE EMERALD ISLE Day 7 Transfer to the airport to fly to Ireland s capital city, Dublin Commence a sightseeing tour including the fascinating historic buildings and Georgian Squares Travel past St. Patrick s Cathedral and learn of Ireland s rich musical heritage. (for instance Händel s Messiah was first performed in Dublin at Mr Neale s Great Musick Hall in Fishamble Street in 1742) Check-in to the hotel Day 8 Breakfast daily Full day sightseeing starting at Trinity College founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I Guided tour of St. Patrick s Cathedral which stands on the oldest Christian site in Dublin where it is said that the Saint baptized converts to the Christian faith Explore Phoenix Park, one of the largest enclosed parks in Europe larger even than NY s Central Park Day 9 Travel to Dublin Bay visiting the picturesque fishing village of Howth with its stunning views of Dublin Bay before transferring to nearby Malahide Castle which is one of Ireland s oldest Enjoy the farewell dinner at a local restaurant with traditional Irish music and entertainment. 6 extension 2 PARIS Day 7 Travel to Paris aboard the Eurostar train Upon arrival in Paris commence a panoramic tour of the famed Paris sights including: The Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees, the Louvre and the Church of Notre Dame Transfer to hotel and check in Day 8 Breakfast daily Visit the Louvre which is Paris s single largest building, It is also the largest Palace in Europe, the largest museum in the Western Hemisphere and probably the most recognized symbol of art and culture Tour the Notre Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of medieval architecture, while learning of its 800 year history Day 9 A visit to Disneyland Paris including the opportunity to perform OR Sightseeing starting at the Musee d Orsay which houses a wonderful collection, including that of Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh Transfer to Montmartre for a walking tour that takes in the Sacre-Coeur plus the Place du Tertre Farewell dinner Ascend to the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower for panoramic views of Paris. 7 extension 3 SCOTLAND Day 7 Transfer to the airport for ur flight to Scotland Commence orientation tour of Edinburgh including the Royal Mile, the Palace of Holyrood House (the Queen s official residence when in Edinburgh) and Edinburgh Castle Visit Roslyn Chapel made famous from The Da Vinci Code Check in to hotel and dinner Day 8 Breakfast daily Explore more of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh s charming Old Town Visit Edinburgh s largest cathedral, St Giles Cathedral dating back 900 years Tour Edinburgh Castle seeing the Crown Jewels, the Royal Apartments and the National War Memorial of Scotland Evening at leisure Day 9 Travel to Leith to tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia which served the Queen for 44 years.
