1 Principal s Message Eagle Express Crofton Middle School s Weekly E-Newsletter Mission Statement: Working in collaboration with students, parents, staff and community, Crofton Middle School will develop productive citizens by challenging and inspiring students to become lifelong learners within a safe and structured environment. May 30 th -June 3 rd Dear Parents and Guardians, Yesterday, it was announced that Mrs. Ludd will be joining the Annapolis Middle School team as their Assistant Principal beginning June 22nd. We will miss her greatly, and definitely wish her all the best! As a friendly reminder the 8th grade farewell formal CMS gala: Into The Woods is scheduled for Friday, June 10th. Parents please make arrangements to pick-up your child no later than 8:10 PM (at the Pit door). A round of applause to Mr. Abbott and Mrs. Hood, our wonderful chorus and band teachers, for teaching and leading our talented CMS students in a spectacular performance at our annual Spring Concert. You were all AMAZING!!! 3 Parents, As the weather breaks, often students start to exhibit behaviors that are in violation of the Code of Conduct. Lately, our students have been having an issue with Improper Physical Contact. In many cases, it starts out as playful behavior but escalates into something more. Please speak with your child about keeping him/her hands and feet to him/her self. Students cannot control other students actions, they can only control their action and reaction. Administration will be issuing consequences to ALL students who cannot comply with this request. Thank You, Crofton Middle School Administration

9 1. June 3 rd will be the last day to dress in P.E. Uniform 2. All Lockers should be cleaned out after your class on June 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd with locks removed. 3. Week of June 6 th -8 th (Mon-Wed) Students who were absent the 1 st -3 rd should clean out their lockers 4. June 9 th & 10 th any locks left on the locker will be cut off.
