The conference, which is co-sponsored by the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) of the American Bar Association, offers continuing education credits for numerous professional designations. Nearly 1,300 professionals attended the 2008 WIND Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. By bringing together all segments of the property insurance arena which deal with the aftermath of a windstorm, the 2009 WIND Conference will develop and promote a greater understanding of windstorm claims issues among property insurance professionals.

6 WIND 2009 General Information Conference Registration Information Registration fees include all general sessions, workshops, continuing education credits, conference materials, and all food and beverage group functions, including breakfasts, breaks, lunches, and three evening receptions. Register early, as space is limited and the conference may sell out months in advance. Conference Workshops and Materials All general sessions and workshops, including certification classes, are open to registrants. The maximum workshop offerings are seven per attendee. Please note that some certification classes require multiple sessions and are limited in the number of participants. Conference workshop materials will be available to attendees 14 days prior to the conference. A website link will be ed to all registrants for downloading conference workshop materials. Spouse/Companion Registration Fees The spouse/companion rate is $250 for food and beverage group functions. Full registration is required to attend workshops and/or earn CE credits. Cancellation Policy Full refunds (less a $50 processing charge) will be made for cancellations received by January 9, No refunds will be made after this date. A request for cancellations must be submitted in writing via fax or mail. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. Registrants who are unable to attend may send a substitute or will receive conference workshop materials in place of a refund. How does the company representative, independent adjuster or public adjuster prepare? What rules of the road and ethical considerations exist when giving deposition testimony? Can one s deposition testimony be changed? These issues and common problems that can arise during a deposition will be explored together with various fact patterns for group discussion and interaction. Faculty: Susan B.
