2 Mundosenior was founded in 1991 to run the IMSERSO Holiday Programme for Elder People concession which was awarded through the Ministry of Health, Social Politics and Equality by public tender. Mundosenior is a UTE (a temporary joint venture between companies), formed by three of the principal Spanish travel agencies specialised in holiday tourism: Vibo Viajes, Viajes Barceló and Viajes Halcón. Objectives To improve the quality of life of elder people by promoting social interrelations with leisure activities. To contribute to overcoming the dependence on seasonal tourism in tourist zones. 3 About us We are a Tour operator specialized in providing tourist services for Elder People. We are a tour operator specialized in providing tourist services for Elder People. Among our many projects, one of the main activities we are involved in is in running the Holiday Programme for Elder People, like IMSERSO, ATB and European Senior Tourism, among other programmes. MUNDOSENIOR participates actively in Holiday Plans for Elder People and the Maintenance of Employment in Tourist Zones, generating economic activity, occupation and employment in the destinations where it operates. 3

5 Origins Mundosocial was created in 1991 to run the IMSERSO Holiday Programme for Elder People and for the Maintenance of Employment in Tourist Zones. The objective of the programme is to improve the quality of life of elder people and to promote the interrelationship between people from different regions and, simultaneously, to reduce the dependence on seasonal tourism in tourist zones. This is the reason why trips are offered during the low season. Since its creation and up to this season 2012/13, more than 11,5 million people have travelled with the IMSERSO Holiday Programme for Elder People and these trips have been organized and marketed by Mundosenior. The brand name used by the UTE is Mundosenior. Mundosenior is formed by: ORIZONIA (Iberworld, Iberojet, Viajes Iberia, etc.). BARCELÓ (Hotels Barceló, Viajes Barceló, etc.).
