1 K4 Uniform Information UNIFORM/DRESS CODE INFORMATION - ELEMENTARY K4 students are not required to wear daily uniforms. They are expected to have the Special Occasion Uniform to wear on certain days during the year as directed by the teacher. These days include, but are not limited to, field trips and picture day. Information regarding where these items may be purchased is indicated below ( ). Special Occasion Uniform: LCS logo navy polo shirt short sleeve or long sleeve (School store) Approved khaki pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, capris. Shorts may be no shorter than three (3 ) inches above the top of the knee. Skirts and skorts may be no shorter than two (2 ) inches above the top of the knee. (Approved uniform vendor) Solid white, solid black, solid blue or any combination of black/white/blue/gray/silver leather tennis shoes may be worn with uniform. Solid black, brown or blue leather dress shoes in addition to Sperry topsiders are also acceptable. Shoes with wheels are not allowed at anytime. (Approved vendor or store of White, khaki, black or navy socks or tights (Store of Brown or black leather belt with no decorations. Belts may be braided or smooth leather. Belts must be worn with any pants, shorts, capris or skort requiring a belt. (Store of Note: Privacy pants are available for girls to wear under their skirts. 8 Outerwear Uniform All Elementary Grades Elementary students may wear any coat or jacket to and from school. However, during the school day, students are required to only wear the outerwear items listed below. Sweatshirts - Crewneck and Hoodie Any approved NAVY or GRAY Landmark sweatshirt purchased from the school store or from any LCS athletic team or organization with approved LCS logo. Uniform shirt or approved turtleneck must be worn under all sweatshirts. Jackets/Coats Navy windbreaker or fleece jacket with LCS logo purchased from one of the approved uniform vendors. Navy long sleeved LCS athletic team, Champions Club, or Fine Arts Alliance windbreaker, fleece jacket, or coat with LCS logo approved by the Dress Code Committee. Cardigans Navy cardigan with LCS logo purchased from the school store. The uniform polo shirt or approved turtleneck must be worn underneath the cardigan. In addition, the cardigan may be worn over the girls K5-5 th grade Chapel Uniform. Note: Baseball cage jackets are not considered approved jackets because they have short sleeves. Accessories- Girls All Elementary Grades Hair bands, scrunchies and hair bows are sold in the school store. Hair accessories may be purchased elsewhere, as long as they compliment the LCS uniform. Personal Grooming and Appearance No jewelry is allowed for boys on campus or at school-related functions. Jewelry for girls is limited to earrings with a maximum of 2 per ear. The size of the earring should be kept to a stud or small hoop for safety precautions. Tattoos of any nature cannot be exposed on campus or at school-related functions. Hair should always be clean, neat, and well groomed with no extreme haircuts or colors. Boy s hair length can be no longer than to the collar or halfway down the ear. No ponytails, shaved areas, etc. Hats are not to be worn in the school building. No make-up is allowed in the elementary school.

9 4 th and 5 th Grade PE Uniform Information All 4 th and 5 th grade students are required to dress out for Physical Education. All PE uniform items are required during the entire school year unless indicated otherwise. Information regarding where these items may be purchased is indicated below ( ). PE Uniform Items: Gray PE shirt (School store) Navy PE shorts (School store) NAVY, GRAY, or BLACK sweatpants Required during the winter months of November through February Navy sweatpants with the LCS logo (School store) Navy, gray or black sweatpants without any logo, design or decoration (Store of NAVY, GRAY or BLACK sweatshirt Required during the winter months of November through February Any approved navy or gray Landmark sweatshirt purchased from the school store or from any LCS athletic team or organization with approved LCS logo. Any navy or gray sweatshirt without any logo, design or decoration (Store of NAVY, GRAY or BLACK warm up suit The warm up suit may be used as an alternative for the sweatpants and sweatshirt Any navy, gray or black warm up suit without any logo, design or decoration (Store of Athletic Shoes (Store of Athletic shoes suitable for running and exercising Athletic shoes may be worn for PE and with the everyday and special occasion uniform if the shoes comply with the uniform dress code. Note: PE shirt and PE shorts are required during all seasons of the school year. During winter months, when warmer attire is used, the PE shirt and PE shorts continue to be used for indoor PE days. Note: Hats, muffs and gloves are optional during winter months.
