4 Mathematics We provide tutor supported advanced Mathematics courses for grades K-12th. REDBIRD MATHEMATICS: ADVANCED EDITION Designed to allow students to move rapidly through material they already understand and work on skills they have yet to master, this course develops the foundations for Algebra readiness. The curriculum emphasizes material on number systems, fractions, computation, proportional reasoning, expressions and equations, and topics in geometry and measurement. Over 500 instructional modules and 15,000 problems ensure students develop deep conceptual understanding, build computation skills, and apply their learning in real world contexts using interactive tools, rich gameplay, and STEM digital projects. The course continually adapts and accelerates learning based on the student s individual progress. When combined with EPGY Calculus B, this series covers much of what is generally covered in a second-year college calculus course and can be a major component of Advanced Placement (AP) preparation. PREREQUISITES: EPGY Calculus B or equivalent.

5 Language Arts We provide tutor supported Language Arts courses for grades 2nd-9th. EPGY LANGUAGE ARTS & WRITING (GRADES 2nd-7th) Developed by Stanford s Center for the Study of Language and Information (CSLI), this course utilizes innovative language analysis technology and provides students with rigorous instruction and practice in the grammar, usage, and conventions of standard English. A cumulative progression of multimedia lectures and associated exercises fosters student literacy and critical thinking. Students are asked to compose responses to a wide variety of writing prompts. The reading component of this course balances a broad range of high-quality informational and literary texts, including familiar classics and diverse modern works. PREREQUISITES: Equivalent of K-1 Language Arts. COMBINED MATHEMATICS & LANGUAGE ARTS This dual enrollment allows students to simultaneously enroll in Redbird Mathematics: Advanced Edition & EPGY Language Arts & Writing courses at a discounted rate. EPGY GRAMMAR AND STYLE OF THE SENTENCE (GRADES 8th-12th) Designed to help students understand the grammar of the sentence and to make stylistic choices informed by their knowledge of grammar, this course features numerous areas of study, including advanced sentence structure, clauses, punctuation, parts of speech, sentence analysis, and other advanced grammatical topics. PREREQUISITES: EPGY Language Arts & Writing or equivalent. Science We provide tutor supported advanced Science courses for grades 9th-12th.
