1 Carroll Springs Project: A 12, Acre Rodessa (Gloyd) Coquina Limestone Oil Reservoir Well Evaluation Model Nodal Analysis of Typical Existing Completions vs. Improved Vertical and Short Lateral Wells

2 A fractured vertical well similar to those drilled 2 years ago, can be duplicated today at a cost of $1.7 million and a payout of 28 months. A horizontal well with multi-stage frac will cost approximately $3.7 million; and payout in 4 to 8 months depending on frac proppant compaction.

3 Coquina Prospect A Vertical and Horizontal Well Exploitation/Development Plan for the Coquina (Rodessa) Formation, in Henderson County, Texas Computer Simulation - Existing fractured vertical well performance is correlated to actual initial production rate and average initial monthly production rates. Simulation of 1 and 3 horizontal wells in the same Coquina (Rodessa) formation with multi-stage fracturing is demonstrated. Horizontal wells have approximately nine (9) times higher initial production rates Increased drainage areas are 125% for 1 HZ wells, and 165% for 3 HZ wells. This increases the EUR 125% (1 HZ) and 165% (3 HZ) over the equivalent vertical well in the Coquina (Rodessa). All example well simulations used the actual vertical well experience of initial average barrels of oil per day for the first month equal to 35% of the initial test rate (IP). Similar declines were created in HZ well simulations to match the drainage areas and corresponding EUR s.
