Floor slab was poured and internal forms were placed. Liner was not installed in the floor at this time. Floor elevation is approx. 3 below finished elevation. Oversized pre-fabricated concrete protective liner panels were placed on forms. Internal view of wall. After concrete was poured and cured, the forms were removed. The liner panels were then welded together and all tie holes were capped. Screeds were formed and poured in floor. Strips of concrete protective liner were then placed on the screeds. Concrete was placed and screeded. 5

Plywood was placed on panels and concrete blocks were used to keep the panels in place until the concrete cured. The double contained pre-fabricated CPL cylinders are shown here ready for shipment to the concrete precaster. Foam disks were placed in penetration areas to block out concrete when poured.
